Merry Xmas to all on ths forum, I had a great one myself, got engaged to a cracking lass (long term girlfriend, not some random ), so another one converted to the Well family! Now for one last present, 3 points today!!!!
-
Been some journey. Personal Highlight has to be Nancy, waited so many years to see Well on foreign soil! By the time we got to the stadium I was up at the head of the march and as I turned round to see a sea of C+A pouring over that horrific bridge and into the distance behind them I welled up,so proud. Apart from that, Fizzys goal in the semi was unreal tho the final was a total letdown. Seen some cracking players and unbelieveable goals and there were the lows of the Celtic Semi, the Rangers semi + of course Phil`s death Certainlt a period I will never forget

Breeks are fine, sat isnt the last game were gonna lost this season, and we will prob have another total raping or 2 before the end of the season as well, however you admit we NEED to stay up? I wonder how you think we are we gonna do this without picking up points in the next few games? 1 win in last 10 games, 21 goals against, 11 goals for (7? by a player who will prob leave in jan) reality of losing our best + most influential player (Ruddy) in jan and a thin + very young squad! Those are the cold hard facts, we NEED to pick up points pronto or it really will be pant wetting time
-
wether we got beat 2-1 or 6-1 last weekend, the biggest thing is we bounce back and dont let the manner of the loss affect us, Im not demanding myself but its a fact, we MUST win the next game or at the worst draw and win the next couple, losing points in these games closes the gap between us and the teams below us and digs the rut were currently in deeper! Weve not become a bad team overnight, weve been shite for a decent part of this season and its not the fact weve lost the last 3 games (all against the top 3 teams in the country) its the manner of these losses and the amount of goals were shipping thats worrying, coupled with the fact our squad has an average age of 22 and the majority less then 100 SPL games BETWEEN them and the real prospect of losing the 2 players responsible for the majority of our points this season means if we dont get ourselves sorted we simply dont have a squad capable of fighting in a relegation battle
-
have deliberately refrained from posting here after that embarrassment at the weekend. Now Ive calmed down I can take stock of this in a rational manner. Jim Gannon is a decent manager and has a track record of doing well with kids. Were not gonna get a better manager with the resources available to us, HOWEVER he needs to realize whos paying his wages, shut the fuck up about referees and have a good long look in the mirror. His tactics are decidedly poor at the moment and he needs to sort things out pronto or he is going to undo what good work he has done so far. Anything short of victory in our next game is just unacceptable and 7 points in the next 3 games is a must, anything less and were gonna be stuck in a rut and in relegation danger. Yes we might be a few points away from bottom but IF we dont get a few points soon we really dont have a squad capable of fighting for points if it comes down to it, we have little to no experience and kids are not the answer when it comes to fighting tooth and nail on a muddy pitch on a cold february afternoon

over rated wee twat, would rather sign Jenny McCarthy!
-
not my own work I must admit, was just watching Chris Jericho on WWE Smackdown! Fits quite well tho I feel lol
-
these Sellick fans really get on my tits! self-righteous wankstains the lot of them. Any abuse of one of "their own" and its automatically racist! but nothing said about their scumbag fans abusing the rememberance day silences and their ingrained IRA fanboyism, shouldnt really let them get to me but man It pisses me right off

The handball is 50-50, have seen them given tho it would have been harsh, his hands were by his side and he was a yard away from the guy who hit the ball so had no chance to do anything about it, as I said It wasnt a pen but ive seen them given (usually a guarantee pen for the old firm!), the foul on Samaras? in the first half was about as clear as your gonna get for a pen! that was a shocking decision. Something needs to be done tho, its been getting worse for years
-
Wasnt a great performance, we didnt start at all. Had a good end to the 1st half but entire second half was shocking. Ruddy kept the score down and the experience in this kind of game will only benefit Saunders,McHugh,Pollock,Juke,Meechan etc. However This was not the game to debut Meechan + Pollock! were chasing a goal and JG puts on a 17yo debutant instead of our 2nd top scorer? Crying out for someone (apart from Hateley) to put their foot on the ball and Forbes just gets 15-20 mins? We need Hutch back in defence sorely and had absolutely no creativity out wide. I fear a humping at Ibrox next week and the 3 games after that we need 7 points at the very least. Think Gannon needs to forget his one man crusade on referees and sort his team a bit
-
simple, Ruddy! Hateley played well, Murphy had a good 1st half, Jennings,Lukas + McHugh did ok, Thought Saunders was murder,Reynolds was bit dodgy and Yassin couldnt cross the fucking road. was rough on Meechan + Pollock having debuts in that kind of game too, MFC motm - John Ruddy, Celtic motm - Jim Gannon

I know we wont go there but you could do a lot worse than look at the SPL players who are out of contract this summer, even just to sign on pre contracts guys like - Lee Miller, Charlie Mulgrew,Stevie Smith,Andy Dorman,Stephen McGinn,Darren Barr,Kevin Kyle etc could be worth a look being free and just as good as anything on offer down south tho most would prob be looking for wages outwith our reach, personally Id love JG to make a move for Albert Adomah from Barnet, big, young, rapid 2 footed winger whos destined for bigger things eventually, punt JOB to the sheep for some cash + replace with this guy,
-
i like Baboons, you c**t
-
ok we might not sign this guy + if we do he might be shite, BUT - 1.Martin Grehan wasnt signed by a guy who has made a habit of signing non league players who go on for large fees 2.Martin Grehan wasnt scouted + interesting Leeds Utd! the lad sounds like he could go on to be a player, lets see what happens
-
Loking online ive seen that 2 of the clubs looking at him are Leeds + Doncaster, apparently Leeds were looking to set up a loan with view to a move, so if weve nicked him it could be a bit of a coup , scoring record this season is 20 goals in 23 or 24 games small, fast + slippery as an eel apparently
-
Who, Trucks or Pape Mamadou Faye?
-
they have interviews at half time, this week it was Craggs
-
ah, so are Yass,Ruddy + Hutch all def out?
-
i take it you werent at St Midden?
-
ws confident till I saw that team, Fraser - Bombscare, JOB - Bombscare at Rb, Craigan - Bombscare just now, could be a very long + dissappointing afternoon 2-1 Hamilton
-
Aye thats what happened,he was on just over £400 pw, wanted £700 pw and MMG nipped in with a 2 year deal at £2kpw, dont know if it was £2k straight or £2k after appearance but it was way ahead of what he was looking for. Fraser said it himself to the Caley boys at training after he signed,He wasnt really looking to leave Inverness but couldnt turn it down Great judgement McGoo sign a keeper on big bucks whos about as convincing as your 2 year search for a "Dominant Centre Half"
-
Clean Sheets against Aberdeen,Dundee Utd,Hearts,Rangers + Celtic and undefeated with 9 points from those 5 games, theres not a single Well fan in the world who would have thought that possible in early July! great result today and a win next week in the Derby would see us comfortably 5th, maybe even 4th or 3rd depending on results. OK the St Midden games were poor but with such an inexperienced + young team the job Gannon has done so far is incredible
-
yass, a good 3 points, and a good day results wise too
-
no idea, didnt sound like there were any injuries, just the Hearts sending off
