7 MINUTES of time added on? wtf??
-
Superb! well done Forbes lad 4830 for a home game v Hearts? pretty poor!
-
Ruddy Moutouakil,Hutchinson,Reynolds,Hammell Hateley O`Brien,Coke,Forbes Murphy,Sutton 4 points from the next 2 games would see us finishing 5th after the first round of fixtures and getting back to something resembling form, however, worried about Hearts physical threat and the fact Nade couldnt score in a bucket of fannies (a sure sign he will score on sat!) added to the likelihood of Gannon playing Murphy wide + Lukas up front means it could be a long afternoon Heart says 2-1 Well Head says 2-0 Hearts

im not so sure it was a desire that got St Mirren the win, a mixture of tonnes of luck and one of the worst Motherwell performances ive seen in ages handed them the game,on another night their 1st goal is saved and the 2 own goals are deflected past the post, add to that what should have been a simple red card that the ref shat out of wi Jack Ross + Lukas being put through only to hit the keeper when it was easier to score and it could have been a different result The thing that worried me was I dont think 1 of their players broke sweat all match, they didnt need much effort at all. If we`d been outplayed + outfought I could accept that we were beaten by a hungrier or better team on the night but that simply wasnt the case, on tues nite, East Fife,Alloa or Elgin City would have turned us over. We made 2 clear chances in the 2nd half n fucked both up,in a game where were so bad we must take those chances, the entire team played like strangers, the defence was horrific, midfield non existant and I dont think ive ever seen a game where so many simple passes were misplaced, THATS what beat us, not Desire!
-
a lot of their chants were pish, I was gutted the fat controller didnt get stuck in about them, would have been more entertaining than the game! just about the funniest thing they sang was the "we paid for your hats/specs" chant.
-
or maybe he just needs to roast a Granny! worked for Wayne Rooney!!
-
a little worried as Higdon and Dorman ALWAYS seem to score or give us problems, still hoping for a win, any score will do from 1-0 to 6-0 and even on pens!!
-
Il be there tomorrow nite, only problem is Im at a training centre on murray st, 400 yards from the stadium and finish at 4pm, no point me going back to bellshill so anyone care to help with some advice on bars etc to visit before the game where I wont get stabbed lol
-
didnt realize Bannan was a winger, Aye,maybe Forbes wasnt so impressive last week but on his form so far I just feel he should have had a run at some point, still the rest wont have harmed him anyway. And back on topic, Well done Jamie!
-
fair enough and maybe not the best game for him, however i believe he should have had a run, maybe even before Bannan who is a 5`4 left midfielder, not a striker. Bannan is established and maybe it was right for him to play instead but i think Forbes who is 6`0,high on confidence and has a wand of a left foot for free kicks + corners would have been more than useful.
-
Murphy is a well established part of that team + usual starter (plus one of 2 or 3 actual strikers we have) so no real surprise in him getting on smartarse
-
Forbes on bench + didnt even get on? 7 goals so far, played every game for a good team n not a shout of a start? shocking! but then no real surprise as his club jersey isnt blue or green+white hoops
-
because if you stand up,the guy behind you has to,and so on and so on. plus if the stewards let whole sections (like the end of the east) stand then guys in the other sections will want to stand as they will have the argument of "why can they stand up + we cant". The 2 ways to rectify this is to have a compromise,ie back 2,3 or 4 rows in a section can stand, or create a standing area where all who wana stand can and wont block anyone elses view. The club do this and STILL get shite! its unbelieveable, unless your mentally retarded how hard is it to understand "sit on your arse". the guys "sticking it to the man" by defiantly standing, getting chucked out are fucking pathetic and spoil the enjoyment of others, grow the fuck up and concentrate on SUPPORTING YOUR TEAM! a novel idea i know but it just might catch on
-
yes, well done, Hibees sound just as shite as us defensiveley, and yet again good move by Gannon, pinning back Riordan
-
this could be a massacre, defence sounds shite, cld be 2 or 3 down. time for an early JG sub!!
-
not a great performance but a game we would have lost in years gone by, the cup is all about getting through and we did that, plus oooft at Forbesys goal, peach of a hit! on a bad note,I think Mr Gannon is getting too big for his boots now, were 1-0 up and caley get a man sent off, so he responds with the ultimate insult, bringing on McGarry so its back to 10 v 10! Cheeky Jimbo!!!
-
nothing brutal about it mate, as I said I will form a better opinion once he settles in and while it was frustrating watching on tues nite I didnt get stuck in shouting from the stand as I dont believe it does anyone any good. However, watching him play he looks to be trying, too hard at times, but his runs, passing, shooting, everything are not that of a so called Premiership player, in my opinion he looks pish, sorry if that offends you or any the happy clappy brigade and as I said, I hope when he settles he does come onto a game, its just that so far, he doesnt really look to have what it takes to do that!
-
Forbes had a good game game and thought McHugh did well too, Yass was crackin again (enjoy him while he`s here cause there not a hope in hell we are keeping him after January!) but overlall Esson had to be motm, as its a vote for our guys, im going for Forbes
-
Lukas is pish, the new Callum Elliot! have seen him twice now and he just looks very poor. I do agree tho that he looked like he was trying to do too much, so Il reserve my final opinion till he settles in a bit and hopefully he will come onto a game once he relaxes, but as I said, he dont look too clever so far!
-
i know its only a joke etc but Id love just 1 Champ League game at Fir Park, imagine that music playing out at FP (well maybe the POD + Cooper neway) id be welling up wi pride wi that lol
-
the march was awesome but that bridge was fucking horrible, made 10 times worse after an afternoon on the beer.
-
having seen it a few times , it was a shocking pen! from where i was in the main stand it looked an amazing save but in reality it wasnt that far left of centre and at perfect height for the keeper, poor!!
-
watched it too but Falkirk looked better cause Aberdeen were dire. MMG played a 4-3-3 n the midfield + strikers were all over the shop, they didnt have a clue what they were doing, Falkirk did play some decent stuff but as u said, faded badly in the last 20, should be a win, however with them still awaiting their 1st win of the season + us being so accommodating in these circumstances, its gonna be far tougher than it should be
-
there was 2 times he looked at his linesman (main stand) in the 1st half for help and when none came awarded Rangers the decision when it was clearly Well ball. Wasnt his worst game but he is still a dodgy ref. Reading that Rancid report , cannot believe Weir got motm, joke that is!!!!
-
Hutch played the season before last as a left sided midfielder but it was more left of centre than actual left mid (wing), great piece of work by Gordon Young tho spotting the attributes and developing him into a cracking centre half
