Sure youve got it switched, it was 300k for Porter and £400k for missing top 6
-
thats the worrying thing for me,could be some even more dire shite on the way in the next month we must give Murphy,Saunders and maybe even Slane,Page,Coutts,Meechan or McHugh from the 19`s a game to see what potential they have. Js a total downer today

Terrible for 1st goal, 1 footed or not, the first thing you learn at 6 or 7 when you start playing is never to put the ball back across the face of goal, the 2nd was some strike but game was over when we gifted them number 1. Yet again couldnt score in a bucket of fannies and thats whats hurt us this season, every team will make defensive fuck ups, they just hurt you more when your strikers and midfielders are incapable of finishing more than 1 out of every 400 chances And MMG, why the fuck, in a game we had to win, didnt he make changes earlier when we were crying out for it? Really MMG deserves a giant boot in the baws and a serious reduction in salary after the shite he`s served up this season, well done fella, you really proved your worth the massive wage hike last summer! All in all, just Shite! £400k down the pan, pretty much guarantee Klimpl,Hughes + Smith gone and 5 meaningless friendlies left to play
-
why was he kicking the door in? Is that some new pastime in Motherwell? just boot someones door in for no reason? shocking behaviour and hopefully sorted out by the club , and by that I mean his arse booted out the door, no matter how good he is or might be
-
delighted if true, cracking player wi a point to prove. Would be a dream, but imagine seeing a midfield of Pearo,Klimpl + Hughes next year!
-
For Europe it would either be an empty terrace,or the German style reversible terrace which would be a fairly large initial cost. UEFA are never gonna stray from all seated grounds
-
I hope we do make top 6, and would be amazing to make europe but really really worried we wont do either, weve fucked up just about every important game weve had this season and for the next 3 games were gonna need a massive improvement in effort/luck/general play. As i said, hope we do but worried we wont. Time to strap ourselves in, the ride could be about to get rough

Nancy home was a big game for our season, we got pumped, hamilton was a huge game for our season, we got pumped, St midden in the cup was a huge game for our season ,we got pumped and Killie was now a huge game for our season and we scraped a draw, 4 huge games for our season and 4 of the shitest performances possible, for now on, Mr McGhee, KEEP YER FUCKING MOUTH SHUT! ya Jinx

Definately good to hear that we are in the black again and it might possibly mean theres a little cash for MMG in the summer. Even with the pitch costing £250k, we made around £350k profit, plus would have probably budgeted for £50k or so for pitch upkeep anyway. Added to Porters transfer fee,the freeing of Porters wages (£5-6k pw??) + possibly the Nancy tv games + any UEFA cash (if there not included in this past report) after any extra wages + costs we could have a couple hundred grand for a couple decent players. Just good to know we are Debt free, own our own stadium, have a decent squad, one of the best bosses in the league, AND we pull a profit every year! Certainly not bad in this climate

The Faddy money was mentiones in the AGM notes for 2008 last Feb, it said that due to the timing of the deal, half the Faddy money went to Creditors! One other thing was that there was no sell on clause in the Skippy deal! Well done there

I know how bonuses work, but did we really make £1m more in clean sheet and win bonuses than last season? Forgot bout MMG + Leitchys wage hikes tho, thats where a fair chunk would have gone. Apparently Seeding instead of turfing is the cheaper option (surprise surprise ) but also seeding means there is no thatch which holds onto surface water, and rooting is better
-
Seen this over on FPC, quite interesting! Motherwell held its 103rd Annual General Meeting on Monday and shareholders were pleased to note the healthy financial report which generated a pre-tax profit of £384,000 - the fifth successive year in the black. As ever, the formalities were quickly completed and most of the evening was devoted to an informal discussion with the board and the manager. It was pointed out that last season's successes meant that player bonuses were relatively high and taken together with the higher wages needed to attract better players the salary bill was up by around £1m. That expense was balanced by income from transfers; notably McDonald, McCormack and a sell-on fee for Lee McCulloch. John Boyle let it be known that there was no chance of a move from Fir Park in the next five to ten years. The club are still in discussions with the local authority and it may be that training facilities in the Ravenscraig area might become available some time in the future. We are to spend around £250,000 digging up the pitch in the close season. It seems that the covers and hot air balloon have contributed to the poor surface by drying the soil too much. The new surface will be grown from seed rather than imported turf. The chairman apologised for the ticketing arrangements for the Nancy games and the subsequent pricing initiative. Lessons would be learned and consultation would take place with supporters in future. Online payment mechanisms would be in place for season tickets. Questions were asked about the police decision to close roads around the stadium. Several issues were mentioned including the delay in releasing cars from the official car parks, delays of 30 minutes were mentioned. The matter is the subject of ongoing discussions with the police. The PA system will not be renewed. Mark McGhee had his share of questions concerning the football side of the club. Of note was the praise heaped on Paul Quinn who he rates highly. He hopes to persuade key players to remain at the club. The importance he places on this week's game at Kilmarnock is reflected in the decision to take the team for an overnight stay on Friday to ensure best preparation. - Seeing as Hughes + Porters wages are apparently financed by Boyle, the boys must be on some fucking bonus structure to increase wages by £1m (£20k pw!) no move from Fir Park in next 5-10 years apparently? So any cash we make in the future is gonna be spent on the ground (crumbling main stand, shitehole east, rusting metalwork+ dodgy pitch) instead of the team, great and does anyone actually believe were spending £250k on the pitch in the summer?

Shaka replied to TvTotherwell's topic in Club Chat
Merge SPL,SFL,SFA into 1 governing body Premier League - 16 team (play each other twice = 30 games, break in Jan / Feb after New Year fixtures + scottish cup weekend) 2 up / 2 down, 3rd in div1 + 3rd bottom in premier play off Division 1 - 16 team (play each other twice, winter break) 2 up / 2 down , 3rd in div1 + 3rd bottom in premier play off Division 2 - 10 team (play each other 4 times, no winter break (possibly giving these clubs a wee crowd boost then) 2 up / 2 down, 3rd in div 2 + 3rd bottom in div 1 play off Premier - All Seated Ground, Some appropriate form of Pitch Protection 25 man squad maximum (of which 8 must be under 21 and 4 of these u-21`s must be "home Grown" ie, have been signed with their home club for 3 years or more) Universal price policy - £15 Adult, £8 Concession, £25 Family (Adult + 2 Kids) TV Money more equal, 60% split evenly between ALL 16 member clubs, 40% remainder split into the televised matches where home team gets 75%, away team 25% - Ie 10m per season, £6m split between 16 teams = £375k + £4m split between 40 games = £100k per game , £75k home team, £25k away team -
good result from a potentially tricky tie, but 1 thing I have to say, that Eastend Boaby Crew were cringeworthy, fair do`s for singing all game,a commendable effort but the constant Butcher and Foran songs as well as Ryan Esson Child Molester song (why??) were pretty embarrassing, plus their flag things looked like poor primary school efforts

Lauders is prob the best bet. The Moray is even dodgier and will be full of h**s watchin their game, Lauders isnt too bad, decent food, good drink n a couple of tidy barmaids (unless thats the beer goggles) either that or go to Weatherspoons, but apart from the cheap drink its shite

"go on big man, pull my finger!" or "your wrong about everyone in paisley bein a junkey! im just coked out ma tits! "

thats the thing we need to be working on, in todays world, a lot of teams are so evenly matched that the way to win is through set pieces, long free kicks, short free kicks, corners + throw ins all provide opportunities to get the ball into the oppos box + more importantly score a goal! And lets face it, when some of our players have worse crossing, passing + ball control than most pub league players we need to exploit every opportunity we get!
-
Were going about this all wrong, our fans get bother and ordered to sit down/shut up but at old firm games hundreds of mutants get away with singing filth and standing, therefore its simple - We wear green/blue t-shirts refuse to wash the day or 2 before a game and replace every second swear word with f****n/orange bastard and were sorted, no more hassle about noise and standing!!
-
he isnt stuck wi it, you can change country anytime until your 21st birthday now, so he has a year n a half i think. not that i think he ever will

our biggest problem here is the dreaded curse of the live tv!!!!! can we have the replay and celtic game screened on bbc alba please? as thats the only time ive seen us win on tv since skippy sunday

have never really been a Fitzy fan, (even with his goal at easter road! almost killed me,choking on ma softmints while trying to celebrate! ) but while he gets a lot of criticism, and I confess ive done it myself at times, the double standards from some fans at Fir Park astounds me! Some people need a reality check, were Motherwell for fucks sake, we always have and always will have players who give the ball away or fuck up and as frustrating as it is for us watching, dont you think its even worse for the guy on the pitch? they dont try to make mistakes. And imagine how much worse it is for Fitzy, knowing theres guys waiting with delight till he does something they can shout at him for, esp when other players get almost no criticism even tho they can be worse. Im no happy clapper, and I will admit my emotions do sometimes get the better of me and il have a grumble when someone makes an arse of somthing ( i do prefer waiting and just being a moaning faced chunt on here instead of shouting at the game) but im an equal opportunity wanker, il moan about ANYONE who Im pissed off at, none of this picking favourites shite. Away on a bit of a tangent there, but what im basically trying to say is I know players frustrate but lets stop going down this road of singling out a certain player, and if u do wana do that, try doing it on here or in the pub, not at the game,it does no1 any favours
