I remember that from the Davie Cooper video I had in the early 90`s about his career, The well scout watched him and could see he was superb,but in those days it was a tick box sheet instead of a report,so it said his left foot,skill,crossing,set pieces all got ticked but he wasnt considered cause the report had no ticks under tackling,heading,right foot,work rate etc.

wasnt it Ole Solskjaer and Ronny Johnsen as a double deal? Big Eck said Johnsen was a player but Solskjaer would never make a good striker and as he couldnt get Johnsen on his own,he binned them, sure thats the version i heard a wee while ago. When I told that and some of the other players Eck binned to ma m8 whos a blue nose season ticket holder, he came away wi a few crackers who apparently were on trial wi Rangers during Ecks reign and were binned cause he didnt think they were any good, I cant rem the names of the players but I was shocked at the names he gave me.

Fc Midjylland are skint tho, thats the reason they wanted to push thro a deal rather than a loan, They did pay a good amount for him and he is on a good wage, but they are struggling financially and want to get him off the wage bill, that to me sounds like they wont be too hard to deal with, but his wages could be a stumbling block if we go for a permanent deal!
