I find nowadays the term legend is used far too readily so i would like people to think what it takes to acheive this status. Obviously the likes of Cooper O Donnell are no brainers in this category but recently i have scoffed at the suggestion that Corrigan could be a Well legend. However i do think although James McFadden was at Fir Park only a short while a case can be made for him to enter a kind of hall of fame ( not just for swashbuckling but maybe cos the funds from his sale helped escape financial mire) what do other posters think ? I personally like stories abourt players i am too young to have seen like Ben Ellis etc

My vote went to Steven craigan while i undersatnd the plaudits for JOB i believe it no coincidence Motherwell never conceded 3 times this season (1-0 at Easter Toad 0-0 Saturday and last night) and the Northern Ireland international has played in all.My fervent hope is that in years to come Mr Craigan occupies the managers office.

At this time with the anniversary approaching i thought it would be a good time to share memories of the great man and while no one who was there will forget the bravery of his header in the Cup Final the one which sticks in my memeory now is the strike he scored against Hearts.I knew it was hitting the net as soon as it left his foot .He will live FOREVER in our memories.

My team would be Smith , Saunders, Hammell, Quinn, Craigan, Lasley,Malcolm , O Brien ,Fitzpatrick, Clarkson, Sutton in 4 4 2 the two big men up front is not working and if Clarky is not ready id put Murphy up top.Agreee with Pedro O Brien needs to show what he can do from the off.

As things stand i will not be back because i am fed up dragging myself along to Fir Park at weird times and not 3pm on a Saturday , perversely if the club go down i prob would be there as it would mean more regular ko times.

Malcolm has been given refuge at Fir Park as no other club would take him,i do not rate McGarry and the ones starting his Appreciation society were surely taking the p.Could Jamie Murphy not give better service for the stikers? Is not the case that big men do not match up front?
