Being an old man myself, I wasn't involved, however in July 2002 Motherwell played Cardiff City in a pre-season friendly at Fir Park, (1-0 Adams). With Motherwell having a strong Leeds Utd allegiance, Friday's Sun featured a front page story indicating Motherwell fans were out to extract revenge for the way Leeds fans had been treated at an FC cup-tie at Ninian Park. Large turnout of SS that day and there were indeed several clashes before and after the match. OB were kept very busy that afternoon.

We've lacked a dynamic leader for some time IMHO. A midfield battler who leads by example and can motivate all players around him into giving of their best is what we need. A Billy Bremner type.

You'd be surprised what MFC related tat I collect, and I doubt I'm alone. I have a whole loft full of stuff, including XL replica shirts that have never fitted me but I bought anyway, then there's my 1991 whisky/wine collection ..... not to be consumed. It's a life-long addiction mate

Doubt we could afford it or get the subscriptions to justify it. A much better idea would be to group a few other SPL clubs together, share the costs and have nights dedicated to each club on a rolling rota so to speak. Kilwellbudairns TV anyone
