Stratford's is the wrong side of the ground since they changed the away entrance. why not the Roseburn Bar ? was fine before the cup game and is more accessible from the west.
Ireland's rugby shirt had raffle winners names' in the number on the back of each shirt.
Perhaps a potential route for MFC to raise some reddies. I'd pay a tenner to have my name in the number ............. would you ?
Initially I posted lo-key, but I'm right with Andy on this. Wither you are a 'Well fan of 5 or 95 the 125th anniversary of MFC should be acknowledged in some way by those touched by its very existance.
will be the 20th anniversary of our 4-3 triumph over Are Shyte in the SFA Cup Final.
Perhaps more importantly, the previous day will mark the Club's 125th Anniversary.
Will the Club be organising any event(s) ?
Will we as fans ?
OK it's 2 years away, but just look how long it took to organise Dougie Arnott's testimonial
What about the Innes Bar ? It's closer to the ground and frequented by friendly Caley fans. I went on their bus to our game at Pittodrie few years back.
I say let them call themselves what they like. We may be 30 years apart but they share my, (our), passion for MFC ............. SS, wellboys '86, eastend babycrew, Gaidhealtachd Dossers, or whatever.
'mon the 'Well
No complaints here. They've made damn fine rugby gear for years. Hopefully these skills will allow them to produce a quality MFC shirt, with a claret hoop
Agreed.
I was also drawn to the Choir in my early teens, (mid 1970's), standing on the lower steps taking the lead from the older guys up the back of the shed and gradually moving up the steps until I was one of the older guys up the back.
There was a self-policing pecking order where the younger guys followed the older guys. That is clearly not the case these days.
Sorry to hear about the Well Boys though .................. good effort nonetheless guys
Pat Nevin offers an insider's view in the Sun today.
Very enlightening .............. for the Sun that is but according to him the pitch will never be fixed and we'd be cheaper moving.
I can see us ground sharing with the Filthies while The Craig is built.
Good idea, or perhaps Corporate Hospitality at a selected game or several players taking some kids for a training session or names on a Club Sponsors Board within the 'Ark, etc., etc., ......... the possibilities are endless.
