  1. They do if they are in the EoSMSC.
  2. You don't have to travel by bus to be affilliated to the SA.
  3. Do they account for 20% of our average away support ? Probably more, with many also being ST holders. Reckon there are over a doz such folks in the EoSMSC.
  4. I was a Member, but left when Martin Rose attained a post on the MFC Board. I did not believe it right for him to wear 2 jackets, with a conflict of interests being the obvious outcome. As Chairman of the Trust he should have automatically found a place on the MFC Board but this was craftily avoided by JB imho.
  5. Lets face it, the only reason folks buy a ST these days is to retain their seat. Making an allocation to the SA is a step in the right direction IMHO, and while I know it don't agree with everyone it provided an alternate route for those not so near to Fir Park but still commit to supporting their team .... home and/or away. No solution is ideal but until the Club allocate Brownie Points for ST's purchased, games attended, pies bought, programs bought, replica shirts bought, etc., etc., what can they do ?
  6. From Trust site ................... The main objectives are to ensure that fans have a say in the running of the club and that the club recognises the important role it has in the community. To that end we hope to secure both a shareholding and a representative on the board. The following extract from the Trust rules are the formal definition of our purpose. Abject failure so far.
  7. Why should Season Ticket holders be given priority for away tickets ? Their financial commitment is for home games !
  8. Faddy got one in the 6-2 humping of Livi the year we got saved from the drop, including the best goal I've ever seen at Fir Park
  9. Just been thinking ............. I believe MFC needs a Fans Tsar/Ambassador/Liaison Officer or whatever trendy name you want to call it. Someone within the Club who's sole mission is the welfare of Motherwell Supporters in all aspects of their relationship with the Club. That to include:- :> communications with Supporters Groups; WellTrust, Association, WellBoys86, and those with special needs. :> stewarding/policing issues, especially in the East Stand, and at away games such as Parkhead and Ibrox. :> ticketing issues, merchandising, travel, loyalty schemes, events, etc., I am sure there is much more could be added to the above, just spouting off my cuff after my cornflakes and banana.
  10. That's the last 3 games I've seen in their entirety Now, I am absolutely delighted with yesterday's result, and from where I was sitting there are an abundance of positives to take from what was a much needed victory......... Craigan seemed to stabilise the defence a bit, Klimpl added some much needed bite to midfield, O'Brien ran himself into the ground and Hughes enjoyed the extra space, Chris Porter-Porter-Porter, Hammell found his own man more often, Clarkson's appetite was infectious and the ball stayed on the deck more often. However, in our last 3 fixtures we've conceded 6 goals to 3 of the worst teams I've seen in years and that concerns me greatly. Here's hoping some confidence can be taken from yesterday and the team can put the recent barren patch behind them. Well done guys, now come on ...... there's more victories to be had.
  11. Watching thru my C&A blinkers Tokely cleaning out Hughes from behind was way more blatant than Craigan's cuddle of the wee ginga heilander. While on Tokely .... noticed he ran straight off pitch at final whistle, without shaking any hands. Poor show Ross Liked the Alba tribute to Uncle Phil, but their female summariser/interviewer is worse than Alison Walker ..... she asked Chris Porter the same question 3 times
  12. Fans at loggerheads with over zealous policing/stewarding of the East Stand.
  13. looking at BBC videprinter ........... says 3-2 and Caley missed a pen !!!!!!
  14. will be interesting to see what kinda crowd we got today.

    Porter

I ditto that. Players come and go, and have every right to be ambitious and move to a bigger club, (and despite their lowly position in the Championship), Forest are a far biggeer club than us and could probably more than double his wage. Give it yer best in a 'Well shirt while here and you'll get my backing, and I'll wish you well when you move on whoever you are.
  16. slip in concentration ....................... hopefully we can hold them till 1/2 time
  17. Just spread some lemon curd on my buttry and it says 3-0 Motherwell ............. that'll do me
  18. preferably covered. Had some great times in the sheds of some of our country's football stadiums. Gone but not forgotten .................. Tannadice - longside, Parkhead - Rangers End, Brockville, Douglas Park, Muirton Park, Annfield, Boghead, Starks Park, Dens - Provi Road End, B)
  19. Can't help but think this also. January weather in the Garioch area tends to be more volatile than in December.
  20. could turn our season.................. a must win IMHO, could return some much needed confidence to the players heads !
  21. gave it to Porter for his sheer reluctance to give up on Sat, was creative as well as being unlucky not to find the net himself. Young Saunders certainly was our best full-back, (no much competition mind).
  22. Who on earth voted for Darren Smith ?????????
  23. Having driven 200 miles, I was less than impressed at Saturday's lacklustre performance. To conceed 4 goals in our last 2 games to two of the worst teams I have ever witnessed says it all really. Left NDP on Sat feeling very low .................. but don't know what to suggest, and shouting abuse at players don't do me any good.
