Depends on the opposition and where for me. For us, a game at Accies at 7:45 on a Friday night would be fine, but Inverness at 12:15 on a Sunday is simply stupid.

When half the team can't find a team mate with a pass, when we cannot defend set pieces, when we play more than 70 mins before making an attempt at goal, when players don't look fit, when our formations look untried and matchday selections baffle many of us ..................... I think we have every right to be critical, irrespective of recent achievements or otherwise. None of us expect to be world beaters. We can only compete against our peers - most of whom are shyte -- but it's those basic essentials that are really letting us down.

Vigurs tore us to shreds from the left in the 0-3 loss to Ross County, so whats the problem.

From what I've seen/heard so far this season we haven't found formation/tactics that suit the squad, and that is a major issue as confidence will take a pounding if we continue to play like a bunch of strangers. The arrival of McManus, (imho, a quality centre back), seems to have had the opposite effect to that desired. Did SM attempt to replace last season's departures on a like-4-like basis ? Sutton for Higdon apart and perhaps Anier for Ojaama - imho No - so we have to find a new way to play. I just hope finding a solution to our blatant issues aint too far away.

not so sure that would be a good thing Eddie. Our support is small enough. Besides this is a Football Forum, and I'll wager it aint much different from any other fans forum. Supporters offer a critical view of their team and it's performance. It used to be in the pub after the match but now its online 24x7, thats the way of the world.

Having to rely on the radio commentary, media revues, texts from some poor souls in the south side of Caley Stadium today, live internet feeds of our 2 Euro games and a day trip to Morecambe, Sportscene highlights, etc., ............... but from that input I have to voice that imho we are a really poor Motherwell side. We look ill-prepared, unfit, disorganised, tactically inept, and some of the formations/team selections are quite frankly baffling. OK, we lost a considerable amount of talent at the end of last season, but we had several months advance warning of this. (Quite frankly Pettigrew was better than Higdon, Marinello better than Humph, Davidson better than Law, Dornan better than Hateley, Graham better than Ojaama), so lets get on with it. It is only mid August, we've played 5 competitive matches with Goals for-2, and Goals against-8. It's obvious to see where the work is required ---- so lets get busy boys.

I believe it is common practice to Bill the travelling support's Club when seats are damaged ? I seem to recall it being reported that in the first season of the South Stand's existence - the only damage was experienced during games against the Beggarz and Airdrie.

I expected us to be more difficult to score against this season. Maybe life will BE more difficult this season with the departure of so many regulars at the end of last. Still disappointed with that scoreline.

Some media up here are talking this game as a 2nd/3rd place decider Lot of Dandies more confident this season than they have been for a long while, and most Reds I know are heading down so there should be a sizeable Red Army at FP today.
