  1. So we're back to non-simplified mode
  2. Would be nice to have our opponents name on the ticket, but if it's logistically easier for MFC to do as they are doing then fair enough.
  3. I'm lost mate, sorry ????
  4. It's mountains out of molehills mate.
  5. You're entitled to your opinion, albeit this "tit" would like you to know that his tongue in cheek comment was motivated by Steelboy's outspoken stance on touring Well fans in colours/kilts. But then you already knew that didn't you ?
  6. Looks like he's got a bum-chum Didn't you know Weeyin flies over the pond for every game, and the A9 is my weekly commute
  7. Exactly ..................... our Club did the right thing by us, now lets do the right thing by them Looking forward to this SPL season like I have no other.
  8. Totally agree, think they need to encourage folks to Q at the other side - where the wall is, thus stopping the conflict between the Q and folks trying to get in/out. Would also like to encourage the Club to examine all that they do, and try to identify if it can be done more efficiently/effectively and cheaper:- switching energy providers say, Bankers, suppliers, etc., Would also propose that as winter approaches Clubs are allowed to request/schedule 2pm kick-offs, in an attempt to reduce their floodlight, (electricity bill).
  9. try chipontheshouldertartanhater@everybodymustdoasIsay.com
  10. No "arses" he said, so you better stay at home then
  11. got talking to a Turkish guy in Dyce this morning ............... seems he's a Rangers & Fenerbache fan, (didn't like my Motherwell Say no To NewCo poster on my window). Anyway, apparently Istanbul is swamped with talk about the possible claret & amber invasion He says, we don't do anything daft like lifting our kilts or defacing their currency and we will be fine. However, when I showed him our Club colours he did laugh and shouted "No way ---- Galatasarasay" . .................. the folks on the Fenerbache side of the city will think we are taking the piss.
  12. Likewise, same for me. If I win, will pay full amount and get someone to collect kit, (its for him anyway).
  13. Excellent shout with the Lotto Brazilian £1 a week, surely plenty of us can afford that.
  14. Great to see some positivity coming to the fore, especially after all the snash we've had to endure in recent weeks. There is a difficult journey ahead of us, and we all have a responsibility to do what we can, however little to support our Club. For my part, I'm buying a Season Ticket. Living 200 miles away I'll get very little chance to use it, but it's my expression of support and thanks to MFC for doing the right thing. I'm feeling very very proud today.
  15. I'm with this. If SKY pull the plug on an SPL without the Tax Dodgers then I will be cancelling SKY - that's full TV package, telephone and wi-fi broadband - currently over £80 a month.
  16. Whats the current on Fenerbache/Brugge ?????
  17. h**s Old/New are fucking everyone up.
  18. Can you begin to imagine the public outcry had the Great War been covered with modern day media capability ?
  19. I have my Great Grandfather's personal effects, posted home to his widow. It was a Church friend of my Mother's who suggested searching the Commonwealth War Graves Commission web site, ( I think it was), for his details. I was actually able to find the date of his death - the day before hostilities ceased - and identify his burial plot. I google earth'd over Baghdad and found the Great North Gate cemetery ............. and felt a strange feeling that there he lies in ancient Mesapotamia, cut down at the age of 37, an Irish immigrant who fought for the country that had given him sanctuary and so much hope.
  20. My Great Grandfather served in the HLI and was fatally wounded by a Turkish bullet in November 1918. His remains are buried in the Commonwealth Cemetery in Baghdad. It was them that told me he would have fought in a kilt.
  21. I'm amazed people read newspapers full of shite written by same
  22. Absolutely ..................... and the HLI did their fighting in kilts
  23. Arthur Black gear, now that takes me back ..... contrast stitching and lots of buttons, and only with doc martens or baseball boots. Shame mobile phones weren't around in those days to have us recorded in perpituity My grandfather's original Crombie coat and trilby, my father's demob suit, white Fred Perry and Doc Martens .............. the Bizz
  24. I remember getting so much grief as a skinhead, even when doing sod all. My height was my failing, cops picked on me all the time, home and away. Its what drove me to playing rugby. Was funny though when I asked my dad if I could borrow his Pringle golf jumper to go to a midweek game at Ayr Don't spill any bovril on it he said.
