  1. I echo the positive sentiments voiced above. Well done SM
  2. Am sure that's what the route schedule said - Virgin Trains - or it may have been change at Lancaster for Manchester ............... either way, it is possible to get a train from Manchester to Morecambe, changing at Lancaster.
  3. Similar tale for my nephew. I invoked a small influence when I heard him say he supported the team that is gone, but living 200 miles away it wasn't a strong one but manipulative nonetheless. He got a ST thru school/church when 13, 2nd season it was up close to the bois and 3yrs down the line he's right in there in the middle and loving it. Reckon the Bois were more of an influence than me
  4. Train we are on going down to Morecambe goes to Manchester after Lancaster and Preston, so I'd imagine the reverse route is there to be had. Edit... trainline.com has Manchester to Morecambe, changing at Lancaster depart 12:15 and arrive 13:35
  5. Unfortunate choice of colours......... very good support tho, and cracking stadium -- very very un-American.
  6. 150(ish) Dossers in a crowd of less than 1000 apparently.
  7. Well Imp says it wasn't a bad performance.
  8. I take my hat off to Leeanne. Irrespective of gender I believe she has done very well in her time at FP. It can't have been easy and that's not counting having to cope/deal with us lot. IMHO she deserves great credit for her contribution so far. In addition, she always comes across very well when interviewed live. Keep up the good work Leeanne
  9. Clean sheet against a Championship side
  10. Trinny's well worth a pelt
  11. All Hail Trinny and Susannah
  12. 9am from Motherwell for us. What time is prohibition lifted ?
  13. who's all on the train to Morecambe ?
  14. So, somebody else said. Is that a defo then ?
  15. The Joker in Bellshill I believe. Think there's a post somewhere earlier in this thread.
  16. Have often wondered why Motherwell don't play more pre-season games in the locale of the 'Shire ? Trips to Lanark, Carluke, Shotts, Forth, Stonehouse, Lesmahagow, and Whitburn, Fauldhouse, etc., would give the Club some much needed exposure in the outer reaches of our catchment area. Aberdeen send teams to Buckie, Peterhead, Turriff, Banff, etc., while Caley head out to Forres and Nairn every pre-season. Keeps the remote fans sweet and spreads the message to potential newbies.
  17. Personally I think the quality of all modern football shirts is rank. I therefore don't really care who makes it for us as long as they keep the amber shirt and claret band/hoop. They can do what they want with the training and 3rd strips but please please please retain an element of claret or amber in the away strip. I'd be quite happy for Underboyleheating to design our strips for as long as he has the energy to do so.
  18. There will be one hell of a lot of duckin 'n' divin going on out there. Agents touting players, Managers wanting exclusivity, media chasing shadows, etc.,
  19. Its a fare trek from the town to the ground, and not a direct one --- what with the railway line to negotiate. Think it'll be a taxi for us, else it could be half-time by the time we get there Shame they moved, I liked the old ground.
  20. Looks the best part of a mile on Google Earth and not a straight line walk either ....... got to bridge a rail track.
  21. Hi Bop, that's the hats done. Where do you want me to send them ?
