  1. I'm driving up to Dundee on Sunday, all my mates can't make it for one reason or another so I have room for 6 people if anyone is wanting a lift up and back. PM if anyone wants a free trip. Probably leave around 12 from Motherwell so time for a couple of drinks in Dundee before the game
  2. I had the pleasure of watching Bobby and Willie playing together, and like the younger generation today saying Faddy is a legend well they two were in their day. I idolised the two of them and when I was old enough to go to the pub there was Bobby drinking with my old man in the burns tavern, I was all stary eyed for a while buying him beers then I got used to his company, formed a good phat team at one point. Anyway legends are what people see in their own eyes, there are the obvious players who are true legends and other players who stick in your mind who have done something special for Motherwell FC and stick in your mind as a Motherwell FC legend, there has also been many Leg ends. The joys. Young ones talk about Faddy, someone pointed out after years will be forgoten, how true is that. Ian St John has not even had a mention and been a legend in his own right.
  3. Hugh Sproat deserves a mention Shuggy Shuggy swing on the bar, don't get that kind of banter these days with players. Plus he looked like a rocker more than a goalie. Bobby Graham, class act (ok bobby get the beers up) he made Willie Pettigrew ya know
  4. John Philliben over 300 appearances, but for me the true Motherwell legend is Stevie Kirk again over 300 appearances, loves the club and scored the winning goal in 91, what legends are made of.
  5. Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all have a good one.

    Porter

If he wants to go to Forest, off yi go Chris and don't let the door hit you on the way out. I had the opportunity to watch Forest train pre season at Bath university and although the facilities there are right up there, Forest sadly are not, I watched then train and can honestly say they are woeful, Calderwood is a joke and they are heading for the trap door in the championship, if Calderwood thinks Porter can keep them up well I hope he pays up to take him in the window, but I very much doubt if he will keep them up. Catch ya later Chris enjoy league 1. How you can sign for him is beyond me, money certainly talks.
  7. Sack him ... we cannot afford to now with his super duper improved contract. I was raging when we improved his contract to stay, he is obviously balancing up the odds and he didnae want to take the chance jumping to Hearts, guy is a chancer and now we cant get rid unless he decides to go, the down side is if we are pish he plays, I had no money card. I personally would like to meet him and smack his chops.
  8. Ask him if he is going to try and open the gate again to take a throw in, also does the ticket office know when the inverurie tickets will go on sale and just no telling.
  9. If it's anything like Stranraer then ticket's will hardly be a problem for getting to see the game, intoxication may be a problem though, it's worth a day out anyway ticket or no ticket, at the end of the day does anyone go on the Scottish trips to watch footie, hardly going to be a cracker is it. The fear is missing it and we go on a spectacular run and actually win it, so for the bragging rights about being at every round I'm sure the diehards will not want to miss it, I can see a few sneaking in.
