  1. Craig Levein said it was a definite red. Kenny Miller said it was harsh. Definitive proof it was never a red.
  2. It was a classic case of the ball jut getting away from him and he tried to recover. But victim blaming just ignores the fact it was a terrible decision from Collum who would never have shown a red if this had been a OF game.
  3. He was a little rash, but is foot was low and he hit the ball first. Collum as usual looking the be the centre of attention and, instead, has ruined the game for both sets of fans.
  4. It's a bit annoying that he could have stayed with us and just as easily been loaned out to ICT, or had some game time in our first team.
  5. And he comes off the bench to score an equaliser.
  6. For US based fans I see our game is streaming on ESPN+ tomorrow.
  7. I see Louis Moult has recovered from his recent setback (vertigo diagnosis) and is back on the bench for Burton today.
  8. I'd be putting Woolery on the bench for this one. I don't think I can take the "pass it straight to the defender in front of me" for this game. By all means bring him on of we need to change things up after an hour.
  9. The best way to avoid cringeworthy Facebook announcements is to never use Facebook. It's bad enough how they 'manage' your data and trash your privacy - the content is just icing on the turd.
  10. Tierney's said himself he expected this (half) season to be all about building up his fitness and strength with minimal playing time - so no surprise there. From a coaching point of view, that stuff is easy to implement as long as the player is willing.
  11. Going by the form book this will be 0 - 0 after all 22 players have taken their pens.
  12. We've spent long spells in recent seasons struggling to find creativity. The period between Nicky Law and David Turnbull wasn't exactly overflowing with imaginative midfielders.
  13. I'm certainly not blaming him for today's result, but the more I see of Woolery the more I think he is lacking footballing skills. He's definitely fast, as he showed last week. However, put the ball at his feet and he struggles to beat a man. His shooting is generally weak and his crossing is as questionable as his decision making. With his effort, size and pace I can see why managers might play him, but you just know when he gets the ball inside the box he's going to shoot straight into the defender 4ft in front of him. If we are going to stick with him, I think he's better suited as an impact sub.
  14. Once you've got over the excitement it's time to take your pick.
  15. At least we got a goal from the passing. Humping it up the park is why we were toothless against Ross County and won't be effective here either.
  16. I want to hear the rest of it though. Just not the guy thumbing through his Bumper Book of Obvious Statements.
  17. I wish there was a commentary-free option on MFC TV.
  18. Who was the least culpable in the inevitable "let's blow our chance to go 4th" extravaganza...
  19. If you mean defenders give refs "a decision to make" by challenging for the ball, then of course he did. But the County player fouled him first, putting his arm across Carroll. If he's stood off his man, you'd be complaining about that too.
  20. And not even a foul. Guy just folded like a cheap suit.
  21. Given the way GA communicates injuries, I wouldn't be surprised if he was in the squad or if he required surgery that keeps him out for the next 6 months.
  22. I think Luton actually signed Campbell just before his contract expired. So that let both parties put together a good deal. Good to see it's working out for him so far.
  23. Certainly made a difference in the 2nd half when the defenders started marking, tackling and blocking.
