  1. I've never seen the point of having a keeper as on-pitch captain. They don't have much influence once the play extends beyond their defence. Off the pitch, it's not a problem.
  2. I don't think there has ever been a decent game of football ever played on any plastic pitch - certainly not in the Premiership. At the start of the season there were rumours the OF were going to propose a vote on banning them from the top flight - I hope that happens. I certainly wouldn't put any money into Livi's bank by buying a ticket for this one.
  3. I can only speak second hand via my dad and brother, but they were told all season ticket holders would get a new card sent out to them.
  4. New cards for everyone this season I heard.
  5. You'll need to speak up - can't hear you over the noise of the backpedaling.
  6. It's never about missing what we need. It's always about can we afford it and do they want to sign for us. The benefit of an academy is that we got someone like Campbell or Turnbull for free. The downside is there is no way we can afford players like that to replace them. It's not a simple problem to solve.
  7. Given our track record with defensive injuries, we might need more than that.
  8. Has to be from the war chest, though, so we can swoop.
  9. I'll see your Midlands and raise you Suffolk.
  10. That's a pretty big presumption. Most managers don't give out information like that - and given the current circumstances with Covid, situations change daily.
  11. Did you just find out he comes from a Rangers family? He's talked about that for years. Do we drop all players that go and watch other teams, or just him? And ban ex-players that come back to watch a game at Fir Park? And not sign anyone that played for the OF?
  12. To be fair, you live in a State that doesn't recognize Joe Biden's election win (or evolution).
  13. Is this your application for SFA Chief Executive?
  14. It was always his dream to play in Claret and Amber... ...now he's done that, next on his list is to play in slightly disappointing black.
  15. I watched their opening league game on the EFL highlights show at the weekend. He's already building that team in Robbo mode with a big center forward and pacey wide men. They were unlucky not to beat Ipswich, but as we witnessed a few times at Fir Park, after they took the lead in the 72nd minute they couldn't see out the game and conceded in injury time.
  16. The six second rule was abandoned a few season ago. The handball rule seems to change every few weeks and I have literally no idea what the fine details are today.
  17. The less any government gets involved in footballing decisions the better as far as I'm concerned. There's never been a pro-football government of any political persuasion in my lifetime.
  18. I hadn't realised Danny Johnson moved to Mansfield after rejecting a new contract at Orient - but I see he scored from the spot in his league debut against Bristol Rovers.
  19. The latest on Dundee's website says "The club have made an application to the local authority for an increase in capacity in both of these stands and also for an allocation for visiting supporters in the Main Stand." Also says they will have a minimum of 5000 with no social distancing. So looks like they are waiting for the official nod from the council.
  20. I'm not sure if it's the tactics, the personnel or both, but right now we are leaving ourselves exposed on both wings.
  21. Or give the new players more than 2 league games to bed in (although I know that's not how we roll on here despite some of our best players ever getting off to a slow start).
  22. Our recent record in Perth isn't too bad. In the last 3 seasons we've played five, won two, lost two, drawn one. Entertainment is often zero, though.
  23. Doesn't matter what any other team does. We need to be taking care of our own business and not worrying about what we can't control.
  24. Interest free loan to be repaid over 20 years is a pretty sweet deal. Even if we didn't need it, sticking it in the bank and collecting interest would make it worthwhile. The lower league clubs were hit much harder than us for various reasons, and I have no problem with them receiving grants instead,
  25. Apart from the black...
