When big Higdon was terrorising their defence, we won because we played to our strengths and played well. No luck or poor performance from them required.

While we haven't beaten them at Fir Park for a while, we typically play better against this side of the sectarian sisters. Unfortunately, their performance at the weekend (albeit against a team we easily cuffed) has given them a bit of a boost. Need to keep it really tight at the back to have any chance. Duffy is the weak link in their defence if you run at him or knock it in behind. If we throw high balls into the box it plays to his strengths. I'd be happy with a point.

Aye, the vote was to allow Doncaster to dish out the punishments, call the league etc. That was rejected (and no surprise there). The disciplinary procedures still exist though - they are just executed by an independent panel who have the full range of SPFL punishments available (as defined in the current rule book) .

The article I was reading said it applied to this season too - although how binding that was, I don't know. Seems to be additional complications from some clubs keeping season ticket holders' money and expecting them to buy PPV for their home games. Regardless, while I'm all for helping out clubs that are genuinely financially struggling - and there are many - the billionaire owners need to be stepping in here to contribute after sucking out the profits from multi-billion pound TV deals these past few years.

The £14.95 is an issue for fans in England because Sky are charging it over and above the normal subscription. When the government granted the Premiership a special exemption to restart playing ,part of the deal was that all the games would be streamed for fans on the regular service. So while the games wouldn't normally be on TV, they should have been on TV as part of the agreement to get football back up and running in the Covid deal. Sky are just making a money-grab.

I didn't vote for Watt, but thought he had a great game yesterday. Like the rest of the team he had to adapt to a more physical approach and I thought he did that very well, putting himself about the Livi defence.

Games against Livi are always won from a good defence and I thought O'Hara and Gallagher did a great job of taming the long ball in difficult conditions. We were strong from front to back, but going with big Dec for leading by example today. I also enjoyed his pass with the outside of his boot in the second half.

Standard Livi entertainment. Excellent result. Only a minor eye bleed from the second half, so not a bad day's work.

Lang looks like a victim of classic "foot sticking on pitch" syndrome.

Mugabi was our best defender before he got injured. Long is better in a front two and I don't think we played Lamie in his right position in any match so far.

Not sure if he picked up a knock or it just wasn't the game for him. Wasn't playing poorly, but White maybe a better option for the necessary agricultural approach.

Watt playing like an old fashioned centre forward today and earned his poachers goal. Looks like he's enjoying his battles with the big Livi defenders and won more than his fair share.

As I said last week, I can only start to feel comfortable when we have a 3 goal cushion. Our defence, however, has easily coped with what little Livi have offered in attack so far. Been a typical Livi game, but we've probably adpated better than in recent visits. Front three doing a good job in dealing with the physicality of the Livi defence. Need to keep at it the second half.
