  1. Aye, we should probably just not go and save our pennies for the next Ross County trip.
  2. Especially this season. The lack of any Reserve league means that on any given week we are going to have a large number of players who are inactive. Training with us and getting competitive matches at the weekend is an excellent way to develop youngsters.
  3. In the league, Aberdeen have had four 1 - 0 games and one 2 - 1 game. So not expecting a goal fest.
  4. He's played more first team games and from the description he's more of a Donnelly type player. (I don't even remember him seeing him play so no idea how good he is)
  5. I'm guessing the loan means Campbell's crocked for the Aberdeen game.
  6. If they get one game from him they will have done better than Livi with Stokes. I caught up with the latest Carabao Cup highlights last night. Didn't see much of Gillespie, but he had a couple of good saves to keep a clean sheet. Danny Johnson's 6th goal in 6 games set up a tie against Spurs in the next round. A confident and cool finish.
  7. Carson was never a keeper for dominating his box. That was more of a Gillespie thing.
  8. Kudos to Trev, but serious questions have to be asked as to why he didn't save either of the second half pens instead of waiting until the shoot out. Aye, you can stop raging now. I was just joking.
  9. What a team. If this doesn't sum up what being a 'Well fan is all about, nothing does. Not sit back and enjoy the rage from fans who are upset we beat the team that beat Maribor.
  10. Much better. Our strikers only score in European games.
  11. Get in. Despite the near miss down our end, we deserved that on our early play.
  12. Lang, Watt and Campbell all looking lively so far.
  13. It's hidden on BBC Sport website under the Linfield vs Floriana link https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/54163517
  14. Exactly. While part of the model is to develop players we can sell on, that won't (and can't) be the case for every player we develop or sign. First and foremost we need players that will perform in the first team every week. Professional football is supposed to provide entertainment, not shopping. If we sign a player for free and they contribute for a couple of years before moving on, then that was value for money. Same as when any of the rest of us change jobs without our ex employer receving a transfer fee.
  15. IF THE APP DOESN'T SEND EMAILS IN ALL-CAPS THEN NOBODY OVER THE AGE OF 60 WILL USE IT !!!!!
  16. Same pattern as Glentoran I suspect. Close for the first 60 mins and then we turn the screw in the last 30.
  17. Especially when you see news like Aston Villa just signing Arsenal's 2nd string keeper for £20 million.
  18. I meant that it's a coin toss whether a new vaccine is approved first or we all catch the virus first. I'll follow the science and the scientists if we ever get a vaccine. If the scientists are happy enough to be vaccinated with it themselves, it's probably fine.
  19. I think it's neck and neck between a vaccine being approved and all of us catching the virus.
  20. If you mean from television payments, then not directly. All the television money is pooled then, as per UEFA, "the clubs receive a share of revenue fixed in accordance with the value of the TV market of the country they represent." So the more money that is added to the pool the more money we should get from our "fixed share". (at least I think it still works that way).
  21. Motherwell. Official supplier of Second String EPL Goalies.
  22. With no reserve league, getting our youngsters proper competitive and consistent game time seems like a good option.
  23. They're supposed to, but I haven't tried it for a long time. I have an Android box hooked up directly to my TV.
  24. Right now the BBC article only says that it will be streamed live on the BBC Sport website.
