  1. I think you're right. I think basically those figures are what you get when you are knocked out in each of those rounds.
  2. According to the Herald, for us to be seeded in the next round, two of the following teams needed to lose in the First Qualifying Round: APOEL Nicosia Malmö FF Partizan Belgrade FCSB NK Maribor Hapoel Beer-Sheva Rosenborg BK Apollon Limassol FC Fehérvár Shkendija Tetovo The New Saints Dinamo Minsk Lech Poznan Aberdeen Zrinjski Mostar Kairat Almaty Zalgiris Vilnius I'll be honest - I haven't checked.
  3. Exactly. And you can see why teams are desperate to get to the group stages.
  4. Last season's payments were quoted as: Preliminary round: €220,000 First qualifying round: €240,000 Second qualifying round: €260,000 Third qualifying round: €280,000 Play-off round elimination: €300,000 Base fee for group stage: €2,920,000 Group match victory: €570,000 Group match draw: €190,000 Group winners: €1,000,000 Group runners-up: €500,000 Round of 32: €500,000 Round of 16: €1,100,000 Quarter-finals: €1,500,000 Semi-finals: €2,400,000 Runner-ups: €4,500,000 Champions: €8,500,000 Those are the fixed payments, I believe, then there is additional TV money depending on the size of the local market.
  5. It is the home team commentary feed, so I don't mind that. It used to be much more biased last season when it was Lewis + a well player as co-commentator.
  6. I don't usually vote if I'm just watching a stream, but I suppose everyone is in the same boat now. Long for me, just ahead of Polworth. I thought Watt added a spark when he came on too and, of course, Trev's save in the first half prevented a mini crisis.
  7. More rounds and more money please. Especially if fans can't even get in to watch.
  8. Jock Brown and Lewis Irons are a little bit less even handed on the stream's commentary. It's actually quite a good listen.
  9. Harry Robinson will be getting his pocket money docked for conceding a pen.
  10. Aye, Long looking much sharper tonight. Deserves a goal.
  11. Finally turning the screw with a wee bit of confidence.
  12. Watt injecting a bit of urgency into the front line too.
  13. Tony Watt on - he scored against Barcelona, you know.
  14. Run faster, pass forward, face the goal - amazing how simple it can be.
  15. Our strikers are all playing like Curtis Main. Back to the goal, not gambling on position and afraid to shoot.
  16. That's because the buying club and the selling club both agreed to disclose the amount. If either party wants to keep it secret they make that part of the deal.
  17. Aye DT's set pieces were surprisingly poor this season.
  18. So all week it's been telling me video would be available to overseas subscribers, but when I log in it's audio only and wants me to stump up more cash.
  19. True, but they were no Queens Park (and they beat us over 2 legs).
  20. Frear signs on the dotted line for Hearts.
  21. Probably a better overall financial return, though.
