  1. I've got enough ad and script blockers to stop then getting any revenue from me.
  2. Sticking it to the single people again.
  3. They'll be able to show it to paying overseas fans I think. Although I'm still unclear about about this specific deal.
  4. Livi are obviously just hoping to grab OF fans' money when they play them to make up for any lack of fans in their other games. If it's not covered by my regular overseas sub they certainly won't be getting any money from me.
  5. Aye. Season ticket holders are, in effect, getting streaming of home games for free. That's assuming they can attend all the home games on their ticket once the crowds are back.
  6. Which makes perfect sense. With more teams like Accies and Livi offering streaming this season I wonder if their away games will be included in the overseas MFC TV subs, or if they will also be PPV only on a per match basis.
  7. I honestly wouldn't pay a quid to watch any game played on that plastic at Livi - I honestly can't remember ever seeing a good to game to watch on there from any opposition. I'm not even sure I'll watch it if it's covered by my overseas sub this season.
  8. When I played full back I was taught never to cross the half way line. Although that might have been because I wasn't very good.
  9. And we continue to score goals by making lots of deliveries from wide areas. Which suggests to me that, in the modern game, that is an are that is difficult to defend. When Tait was at his peak with us he had the most assists in the Premiership. If you were to put a list together of the world's best full backs right now, not many of them would be on there for their defensive skills. Just look at Liverpool - they have 2 full backs that bomb up and down the wings, but can be questionable when put under a bit of defensive pressure. They countered that by paying about £150 million for Van Dijk and Allison to deal with the crosses that come in, but I doubt most teams can afford that. It's something that has made me scratch my head for a number of years now, but it seems to be a key part of football these days.
  10. It's not taking the flack that's the issue, it's the commercial side of the business where the game needs to be promoted and the sponsors need to be enticed. Doncaster was the one who instead of bigging up our game - which is his job - kept saying we were lucky to get what we had because our game wasn't very good. Barry Hearn nailed it 6 years ago, and we've done nothing about it since then. The game needs someone like him to be promoting and expanding.
  11. The nuances of the accuracy of current testing methods combined with the evolving understanding of the virus itself are a highly complex topic that is taxing the minds of many brilliant statisticians and virologists. So well done for figuring out so quickly that 7 false positives must be statistically significant.
  12. Turns out the St Mirren situation isn't as bad as first though. From The Herald:
  13. We're going to be amazing in the 2nd leg.
  14. Certainly a lot more useful than beating Edinburgh City in the Betfred Cup.
  15. That's an easy one. Rangers were giving guys more minutes earlier in their schedule because they didn't want to embarrass themselves in their French tourney. Our first game of any importance is Ross County, so our schedule is different to meet that need.
  16. Accies are on the fiddle again. They didn't offer season tickets for sale this season so probably have some backdoor deal with a shell company to launder money via their new streaming service. (Allegedly).
  17. Might be League One for Cedric too after yesterday's result. A win would have kept Wigan safe after their 12 point deduction, but they only managed a draw and are now in a relegation spot. Now it all depends on their appeal against the deduction.
  18. I used to listen to guys like McAllister and McLair take the same kind of stick from the East Terrace. If we had a team full of Liam Donnellys I'd give up watching the game.
  19. I swear some of our supporters would be happier watching Rugby League than guys that can play the ball along the deck.
  20. This is why they are better played behind closed doors. It's a training exercise that fans take far too seriously.
  21. I was the same - I guess something has broken since then. I suppose this is why we're testing it now, though - so we are good for the league games.
  22. Maybe my stream is so good because it's using 100% of the available bandwidth.
  23. It's Rangers at Ibrox. It might be a new season, but we always roll over here in the league.
  24. The feed last year was the BBC feed, so shouldn't really be much different.
  25. Looks perfect for me. Higher quality than the ones from last season.
