  1. I don't remember anyone saying he wasn't good enough. Only that we didn't know how fit he was and didn't want to end up in another McCormack situation. Given that plastic pitches are banned in the EFL, that was probably another reason to avoid our league when recovering from his kind of injury.
  2. My point exactly. The only reason we exist as a club is to entertain the fans, so the longer we can play our best players the better the entertainment value.
  3. He certainly wouldn't have been anywhere near Fir Park. Rangers needed someone to pick up a chunk of his wages and Burton Albion can afford much more than us. Also, doing them any favours should be pretty much illegal.
  4. Aarons is worse at shooting than G'Boly was when he arrived. Although the coaches did manage to improve that for him.
  5. I live in a 2 Democratic Senators state. It's your Ted Cruz mob that does things like that!
  6. How very Texas of you None of that fancy book l'arnin'
  7. Given Scott went for £1.5 million, I'd be surprised to see him go for less than that. Although, as I've said before, I'd be quite happy to see him play out his contract with us and take the development fee. I don't pay my society subs to watch live streams of tenners.
  8. Sounds like he's ready for the first team now...
  9. We made you Gallagher and this is how you treat us??!! Seriously, though. He has been a cracking piece of business and a great advert on how we can boost a career. From plastic pitch slugger to manicured grass maestro (and international caps to boot). Didn't expect to seem him stay more than a season, and a few quid for selling him is a nice bonus.
  10. Sloth was 100% of that, and he was already punted. The signings of Gallagher, Polworth and Carroll alone are more than enough to offset any damage signing guys like Sloth. And O'Hara has been a key player since he came into the side. Long showed again yesterday how important he is to our team. If you want to compare to McCall, his first summer transfer window brought in Devlin, Cummins, Heatherington, ZFA, Clancy, Daley, Hughes and Ojamaa. Generously that would be about 2 successes.
  11. Aye, but it seems half of NASA watches us play.
  12. No shit Sherlock. Useless players and "wastes of a jersey" don't even have good efforts, though. Do you think we should tell Robinson to coach the players to not try shooting? Turnbull didn't come close to producing anything nearly as good. Maybe complain about him instead?
  13. Have you seen Accies and Hearts results recently? There are no easy games against bottom teams at this point of the season - they are in survival mode and dangerous to play against.
  14. Hearts player went down with a cut to head and took a few minutes treatment.
  15. What a fantastic effort from "useless" Hylton - and an even better save.
  16. Big Declan plays like a chill version of Virgil van Dijk.
  17. Decent first half. With a wee bit more composure we could have doubled our lead, so an early goal second half would be ideal. Get the crowd on the home team's backs. Long showing why he is vital to our strike force.
  18. Pretty much as I expected. It's Hearts only available tactic at the moment - even more than usual while they are in a relegation/play-off scrap.
  19. While it's still in our own hands it doesn't really matter. On a different note, has Gillespie lost a contact lens? He's completely misjudged two balls now
  20. Also, someone needs to teach Aarons how to shoot. 2 weak efforts from great positions. (Although the rest of his game has been good so far).
  21. Did well to stay on his feet when he could have easily taken the fall for a free kick. Excellent finish.
  22. Motherwell TV. Technically only available to overseas folks, but as GazzyB says above, can be accessed with a VPN and a subscription.
  23. Hearts commentator not a fan of Damour - "He's a bit of a drama queen. You knew when he went down it wasn't serious".
  24. Noticed this in the Evening Times today (at the end of an article about Peter Hartley steering clear of Turnbull in training in case he injures him):
  25. 2 - 1 to Hearts (on red cards) 3 - 1 to us (on goals)
