That must have come as a real punch to the guts. That incident reminded me of the St Mirren game at Love St where Billy Abercrombie was shown 3 red cards - although we didn't realise it was that many at the time.

I don't think it's overshadowing yesterday's game. I haven't seen it mentioned in the media, and it's only a small number of posters discussing. Regardless, I'd propose a 2 step solution: Step 1. If you're a fan and behaving like a ned, stop it. Step 2. If you're a club official and overstepping your authority, stop it. Now that's done I'm off to sort out the cease-fire talks in Cairo.

He might have had his faults, but Kelly wasn't responsible fot Butcher, Blaney, Casey and Mugabi losing their man multiple times per game. Also no coincidence it was a poor header from Casey that gave Spittal his chance in the first half.

Doesn't get much better than turning over the Jambos. Now take your pick...

I feel we have another goal or two in us for the second half.

So are you going to share the reasons for the bans and discuss the evidence for and against? Or are you just going to make claims based on no facts? I'm open minded and happy to listen to both sides of the argument, but so far have not seen anything of substance from either party. I'm guessing Caldwell has more to go on than you, but look forward to hearing the facts you have gathered so far.

I think that's true, but what we are reading right now are just rumours. Plus, of course, we may well be in discussions with midfielders too.

It's definitely a lot of strikers if we're only going with one up top. Having said that, I'd rather be in this situation than last season when injuries meant our options to support Bair ended up being Paton and Shaw. Of course, given our track record, it could also mean Apostolos's injury is worse than expected and we've crocked Robinson in training

I won't quote all the posts, but there are 3 or 4 in the last couple of pages alone.

I think some posters can't get past the Wrexham situation when overseas fans are discussed. I believe there are Society members from something like 20 different countries. If a few of them promote the club for free to others in the same country, what's the problem? If that leads to a few more dollars/euros/pounds spent with the club, more power to them. If it doesn't, no harm done.

And the restaurant where you can eat your food under a hair dryer I had my dinner there once.

I'd argue that Les Hutchison saved out club and helped structure it for a healthy future; and I'll always be grateful for that. I'm 100% sure his politics are very different from mine.

Is a rain shelter with heaters not just "inside"?

Agreed - it looks like a good set of candidates were elected. A little surprised the voter turnout was quite so low given all the action around the takeover bid, but happy with the results.

And Rangers! Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers reunion on cards for Motherwell new boy who sought out ex-Rangers man before joining Steelmen

I only read the announcement on Twitter, but just checked the official site and it's confirmed there: "Zimbabwean international Tawanda Maswanhise has signed on a short-term deal till January, with the club holding an option to extend that further."

I'd wait until he avoids long term injury for at least 3 months,

That's how steelboy rolls. Spends all season criticising a specific set of players then, when they move on, talks about how good they were and how we failed to replace them. (Spittal being a prime example).

Regardless of how well/poor Hearts and ourselves are playing we normally match up well against; especially at home. I imagine this will be another close game, but think we might edge it by a goal.

You're assuming that he was going to do a straight swap, but that's not how it works when you lose 7 or 8 first team players. Under those circumstances you need to rebuild and adjust to the styes of the new players. Stuperavic is, apparently, a number 10 and was one of the signings intended to add to our creativity. If you cast your mind back to when Spittal joined the club, he was roundly slagged off by a large number of fans as being useless. He obviously wasn't, but he became the player he was partly through coaching. Any replacement is going to go through the same coaching process. Fans tend to forget that one of the key jobs of the coaching staff is to develop players.

I wouldn't be surprised about Jack only training with us. I imagine he'll receive better offers than any we're likely to make.

Turnbull was in the stand too, apparently. Would be quite the coup to bring him back as well!
