  1. I'd rather our coaching staff worked on developing a guy that wants to be here. Even if Hastie wasn't a ex-player, though, I've always been 100% against loans between clubs in the same league for various reasons I've stated in the past.
  2. He's not exactly the 20 goals a season striker Robinson says he'd like. The stats read 14 goals total in the five and a half seasons he's played in the Scottish leagues.
  3. Let's just say we haven't won a league game at Ibrox for 20+* years then, which is sufficiently abject. * or whatever the exact number is. It's so long I don't remember, and it's depressing to look it up.
  4. Wonder if we get a cut from that deal. I think he still had a year left on his contract when he left us, so we might have had a sell-on in the deal as a sweetener.
  5. Aye, but like I said in my other post - it's 20+ years for us now. But given we have beaten Celtic multiple times in those 2 decades, there must be more to it. And I still think a large part of it is because Rangers tend to be much more phyiscal, whereas Celtic tend to play more football - and we always perform better against the latter. (And it's no coincidence we beat Rangers in the cup semi when we had our full contingent of hammer throwers in the team).
  6. Gary McAllister was good on BT Sport too. Pity he seems to have dropped out of the game.
  7. If I watch Sportscene (and often I don't bother), I watch on BBC iPlayer after the broadcast and skip the studio bits.
  8. I must be listening to different pundits in the Premiership, because the one on Sunday obviously didn't understand the new handball rules, and barely a week goes by without one of them thinking that "getting a piece of the ball" somehow means it can't be a foul. The BBC Scotland pundits are pretty poor too - but that's what happens when you slash budgets. It's no surprise the better ones are on Sky or BT Sport (or in the US, NBC Sports) where they spend more money.
  9. We've beaten Celtic multiple times during the 20+ year barren run against Rangers, with the same mentality.
  10. Aye, but Morelos hasn't played for all of the past 20+ years where we haven't won a league game against them.
  11. It's all about match ups. Hearts and Rangers rely more on the physical aspects of their players so are more similar in style.
  12. Good job we don't have McGhee in the dugout.
  13. Because Hibs figured out how to plug that particular gap.
  14. 4 points from Aberdeen away and Hibs at home certainly isn't terrible; especially given we had to tweak our starting 11 in a couple of key areas. And 3 clean sheets in the last 3 games is always a plus.
  15. At least we didn't give away a goal. This will be the curse of our good league position - teams coming to Fir Park every week that just want to sit in for 90 minutes.
  16. I was hoping we'd score 2 or 3 this half, but I think I'd be more pleased with a 1 - 0 win from a scrappy goal in the 93rd minute.
  17. Ref is penalising us every time one of our players jumps for a header in the Hibs box
  18. Dodged a bullet there - all because of a slack pass out of defence.
  19. Look at our most dangerous when we inject a little pace into our attacks. Need to up the tempo in and around the box. Hibs look quite happy to play for a point.
  20. Hibs tactics boil down to sitting deep, trying to hit on the break and seeing if they can provoke Donnelly into a red card.
  21. Lots of possession and half chances so far, but no end product. A bit like the game at Easter Road.
  22. They're putting 2 men on him every time he gets the ball - so in theory, that should make space elsewhere we can exploit.
  23. Scott beating Tom James every time he takes him on. Need to take better advantage of that before Jack Ross fixes it.
  24. Commentator saying Louis Moult, Marvin Johnson and Cedric Kipré all at the match today. They would have been a decent addition to the squad.
