  1. I expect they have been training with tactics in mind to address this situation (maybe Campbell playing deeper, or Mugabi - or even Gallagher - taking over Donnelly's role). Danny Johnson scoring a late consolation in our 4 - 1 win, however, isn't too much of a concern
  2. That would make sense, although Randolph's latest move is to be the backup at West Ham.
  3. Official Twitter saying the game will be on MFC TV.
  4. Will probably end up like Randolph. Leave for free at the end of his contract then follow that up with a £5 million move and a £4 million move.
  5. Have you seen the footage? What's on it? Is the judge allowing it as evidence? What defence is being put up against it? Is video evidence sufficient for this specific charge or is corroboration required? Etc. etc. But keep speculating - it's really helpful.
  6. I know this is an crazy thought, but maybe wait for a trial (with facts and evidence and stuff) and an actual verdict, before sacking him.
  7. Agreed. But given he has plead not guilty, police confirmed there were no injuries and there hasn't been a trial or a verdict yet - I'd still contend that potentially life-changing injuries dished out by Gallagher and Quinn are more serious (from a criminal perspective. I'm not advocating in favour of domestic violence here!) Regardless, I hate the rush to judgement of the torch wielding social media mobs. The recent Carl Beech debacle is one extreme example of how these things turn into witch hunts. If he's found guilty, then we can start discussing his future.
  8. Paul Quinn was found guilty of beating a guy unconscious - and we made him club captain and let him keep playing. So history suggests we wouldn't let him go.
  9. Randolph completes his £4 million return to West Ham.
  10. No idea but we usually do a good job of injuring our own players during the break.
  11. Long's only on a one year deal, so any discussions with English clubs could be pre-contract for a Bosman in the summer.
  12. If we do get a "traditional" number 9, it gives me the fear we'll just revert to humping long balls up the middle.
  13. I like Griffiths, but not a fan of bringing in players in January that haven't had first team action for months.
  14. http://oklivetv.com/bbc-1-scotland-live/ has worked for me in the past too, but can be a bit flaky sometimes in bypassing location restrictions. (I just tested it and it ran OK for me on Firefox, but on Safari it was asking for my BBC iPlayer password).
  15. I hope he doesn't think Columbus is in California, or he's in for a rude awakening.
  16. If we are serious about fighting for 3rd, we shouldn't be letting Gallagher go until the summer. And if I was Gallagher I'd be giving Wigan a wide berth (as tempting as a Kipré / Gallagher pairing would be). Watched them a few times this season and they have been very poor and already in another relegation battle.
  17. There are always players on our (and every club's) radar. Sometimes they pan out, sometimes they don't get resolved until a later window, sometimes they fall through. The one consistent thing, however, is to never believe any manger when they talk about who they are or aren't signing!
  18. I don't think it will be on MFC TV. There will likely be a stream available from the usual sources, but I'll be sticking to my VPN and BBC iPlayer.
  19. Also good news that Dundee's game was cancelled today, as that is one less bit of competitive match practice for them.
  20. The better players typically aren't available in January, so we might have to make do with a loan until the summer again.
  21. Any banning, I imagine, will only happen after a guilt verdict.
  22. I've never bothered trying to dig into it, but I often used to get about a 20 or 30 second delay before the page loads on my laptop, but that has improved recently. On my phone, using the Brave browser (which is a Chrome variant), it's a bit hit and miss if anything loads. Probably some dodgy javascript slowing things down. It does feel overloaded with unnecessary dynamic content and definitely not optimised for mobile devices.
  23. Campbell, Cadden, Hastie and Turnbull managed to survive McGhee's last season unscathed.
  24. It's the internet - the place where everyone's thoughts, opinions and theories magically turn into facts.
  25. I think they would both have benefited from more first team games and training with the first team in an environment that is more accommodating for young players. Ultimately they may have ended up in the same place, but I suspect they are a year or two behind in their development compared to where they might have been if they stayed. They are still young enough to prove themselves, though, so time will tell if they cashed in at the right time.
