  1. Make sure you are connected to a Norwegian server (and not through a UK server). Try running it in a private window (in Firefox) or Icognito window (in Chrome).
  2. Hearts taken the lead against Aberdeen, too.
  3. Goooal! The ref's having a mare already. Missed the Accies striker's hand ball. Missed Gallagher's blatant hand ball and gave us a free kick when Scott slipped.
  4. An early goal is the best way to kill off that game plan.
  5. I think that is probably true - which is why, although I'd hate to see both Carson and Gillespie leave, I'd be confident we could pick up a decent replacement from down south. Carson, Randolph and Ruddy (and even George Long) are good advertisements for how we can boost a career. I certainly wouldn't blame the club if they both leave. We offered them new deals in the summer - we still haven't found a way to force people to sign against their will.
  6. It's the modern game. Full backs aren't expected to tackle or have any defensive nous these days, as long as they are productive going forward. Look at Trent Alexander-Arnold yesterday being touted as the best right back in the world. Undoubtedly an excellent attacking player, but I'd say questionable defensive skills. I prefer my full backs to be good defenders first, but I know that is just the rant of an old man now
  7. It's about time we started charging Aberdeen for leasing our scouting system.
  8. The official site describes him as a "wide forward" who "adds pace and attacking power".
  9. I've always said the "back to haunt us" theory was well founded and made perfect sense; this is just another excellent example.
  10. Who says it's harder to play against 10 men? Great result to come from behind like that.
  11. Seedorf is still young and inexperienced. I have no idea if he will turn into the real deal, but he obviously has potential and I'm happy to have our coaching staff work on his development to see where that takes him. The "no real desire to be a footballer" I think is, at best, nonsense.
  12. Just watched County on Sportscene and apparently they were hit with the norovirus last week and struggling to field a team. So they have some justification for being so poor. We should have enough to win this though, even if they are at full strength. I'd start Polworth, but keep Scott in the line-up. Think we will win by a couple and keep ahead of Aberdeen. No video stream for this (audio only) which is a shame, so will likely end up watching an English game while listening to the game.
  13. We'll be 3 up by that time in Dingwall, so no worries there To be fair, I think you need to stand off opponents a little more on plastic as they often need to take an extra touch to get the ball under control - so I wouldn't be too critical of that. As poorly as we manage the last 10 minutes sometimes, we came away with another clean sheet, so that is pleasing. Although I'm not sure why everyone was surprised at Brophy missing the target. He's only scored 3 league goals this season and even last season managed 5 less than Turnbull. Not that he's a bad player by any means. He's young and has potential - but with only one double digit season (11 goals) in his career to date, he's not what you'd call prolific at this stage.
  14. Also, to be fair, if Long hadn't touched the goal-bound shot when he was offside, we would have killed it off sooner.
  15. To be honest, I don't think Killie missed several great chances - despite some media reports to the contrary. They had to go for it after we went a goal up, but I thought our defence was OK overall. Probably missed Donnelly's influence at the end when we needed to defend a bit more.
  16. Never an easy place to win. Beat the team below us to leapfrog the team above us is a fine day at the office - and all while avoiding the new manager bounce.
  17. Scott showing how it's done there. Walk it to the flag, win the corner.
  18. I don't mind the high press. It's when we're in possession we seem to give it away too cheaply instead of playing the high percentage pass, and keeping it to the low risk areas of the pitch.
  19. It's no wonder Robinson is banging on every week about needing to see out games properly.
  20. Get in. Well deserved after Killie seem to have resorted to just hacking us in the 2nd half.
  21. Because there has to be at least 2 players between him and the goal. Usually one is the keeper, but it doesn't have to be. If you're interested in latest IFAB law:
  22. I think that would have been a goal if Long had left it.
  23. One of the problems with a plastic pitch. One minute a ball over the top skids miles way, the next it gets stuck in your feet.
  24. Pretty much going as I expected, with Killie defending tight and deep and scoring chances at a premium. We've looked most threatening when Scott and Hylton ran at their defence, so hopfeully we can step that up in the second half.
