I'm not a doctor, but I'd rather an injured player started training when he was medically fit again after 18 months than make him do full training while he was still injured. (I have no idea if he will make a recovery, but pretty sure he won't make a recovery if we make him train too soon).

You need to request a copy of the annual accounts - they can email a copy. Apart from that, of course, there are regular meetings that you can go along to (if you live near enough), or email topics to be discussed. I guess there is a balance between too much and too little info to be put in the emails, but any time I've had a specific question I've never had a problem getting a fairly prompt response via email.

Employers generally take a harder line on disclosure of confidential information than governments do. People only leak if there is some personal gain. To be fair, employment law in New York City means they can give you marching orders with zero notice if they decide they don't like the socks you're wearing. So much lower risk for employers.
