  1. Well that was disappointing. There were points there to be taken, but we lacked the edge up top to take them. The comedy goal we gave away didn't help. Once again, a 1 goal margin of victory in this fixture.
  2. Looks good on my big telly. Not as high quality as the ESPN stream I get for the English games, but decent enough. The sounds quality is a bit tinny, as I think they are just streaming the Mixlr feed.
  3. Main stream has been working fine for me (except when we had a 10 second pwer cut). Are we winning on the backup stream?
  4. Today it is. For away games they use the away teams' commentary team and for games like the Rangers one we had the BBC commentary.
  5. Disaster of a goal. McHugh has been immense then not only gives that one away, Carson ends up injured trying to recover the situation. Been very comfortable too.
  6. Happy to report the stream is up and running today - got it playing on my telly with an Android box. Hope I found the episode where we beat Hearts.
  7. First week the stream didn't start working until about 35 mins after kick off. Second week about 25mins after kick off.
  8. So it's the African and Carribean models we need to follow for footballing success? I don't know if it will work, but I'll be happy to do a fact finding trip to Jamaica.
  9. Which is still more of a plan than the SFA currently has in mind.
  10. That's good. Maybe it was just that Accies wouldn't agree to the lower price with St Mirren (or vice versa). I'll blame Accies.
  11. Hope so. He is exactly what we need in the Hearts game.
  12. Chic Young mentioned a tenner being the lowest price allowed, as he thought it was too much to pay to watch the St. Mirren U21s v Accies U21s at the weekend.
  13. Interesting little statistic in tonight's games was that 5 of Albania's starters play in Serie A. Changed days from when they all used to play for Tirana and spy for the Soviet Union.
  14. Robertson pulling back balls from the left as if he's expecting Salah, Firmino or Mané to be knocking it in. Instead, he's got Naismith watching it float by.
  15. I agree the first goal was horrendous - although it was as much to do with Gordon's suicidal distribution. It's a bit of a stretch to say McGinn is useless based on that one mistake, though. He's obviously one of our more talented players.
  16. No idea, but Leann Dempster wasn't a 'Well fan or a Hibs fan before joining either club and she has done a good job at both.
  17. I'm not trying to defend McLeish here, but losing a friendly to a team that looked good value for being best in the world, isn't exactly a disaster. We'll see where he stands when the competitive games kick off. I'm not expecting to be overly excited, but I think he'll be competent. McLeish's biggest failings in domestic football were his dealings in the transfer market and inability to assemble or refresh a team. If Martinez was the Scotland boss we'd still see the same problems because of the raw materials at the manager's disposal. The faults in our game run very deep and nobody cares enough to fix them.
  18. Last night's result showed the massive difference in class and ability between Belgium and Scotland. The lack of grass roots development in the Scottish game has little to do with McLeish as a manager and more to do with the failure of our adminstrators to manage the sport.
  19. I see Jonatan Johansson has taken over at Morton.
  20. I've no idea what Robinson will do when Dunne and Tanner are both back fit, but it makes a nice change to have selection issues that revolve around too many players rather than "who we have left that is least injured".
  21. I hope you're not counting Dom Thomas as one of the midfielders.
  22. Interesting comments from Crags today about Turnbull. Basically saying the manager has asked him to improve on what he does when he's not in possession. Sounds like he's still on the radar, though.
  23. Robinson's already said he plans to give Campbell a break when he can (like he did against Livi). Plus, once Dunne is back (and McHugh moves back to mid, presumably) that will be another option available when resting him.
