  1. Taylor-Sinclair can supposedly play on the left, so this will be the first test of the depth we have added to the squad this season.
  2. Getting ahead of myself as I know these streams come and go, but as the game is on BT Sport 2, this link seems to work well. http://www.time4tv.live/2017/04/bt-sport-2.php (If it's on a different channel, there is a full list here: http://www.time4tv.live/categories/index.php) Note: My browsers are loaded up with ad-blockers, script blockers and pop-up blockers so I can't guarantee how safe and clean these are. If you do load up with blockers, you can play around with this site now to get the best settings in advance of the game.
  3. Will do. If you have an Android phone/tablet you can view on the Mobdro app, but I'll check for streams too.
  4. Nothing listed on the US channels that typically show football - and as far as I know there is no deal in place again this year. Will be an internet stream for me.
  5. Sammon is a different option in as much as he's most effective when the ball's played to his feet. You watch his goals on youtube and 99% of the time he's taking a man on or being passed into a shooting chance. If we plan to use him as another big target man for long, high balls, we won't get the best out of him.
  6. I think that was the highlight for the boys on the Mixlr commentary too.
  7. Steven Gerrard was at the game tonight. Robinson was just trying to make Kipré look bad to avoid any dodgy bids.
  8. I think 5 seniors was the limit then. Now you can fill the team with them. Not necessarily a bad thing for the boys learning their craft to come up against - if we take advantage of it.
  9. I'm not too surprised we are falling away a bit in the second half at this stage of pre-season. We won't quite have 90 mins of high tempo in the legs yet. As long as it doesn't continue into the league.
  10. Aye the seeding was a bit strange. Alternating them in the draw so one was home, next seed away etc. and didn't do us many favours.
  11. Aye, sadly for Tanner, he got a lot of practice on Mixlr last season, but he's usually good value.
  12. Aye, a win would put us on 7pts and leave QotS (having played all their games) on 9.
  13. I was thinking more of the 2 goal, Fir Park debut of legend Crawford Baptie...
  14. Robinson mentioned on Saturday, Hartley was out for 7 months and isn't very close to match fitness - he alluded to dropping him for this game. I think I read/heard Main picked up a knock too, but I don't remember where.
  15. It's all very well saying put out the fittest team, but if our fittest team consists of 2 defenders, 7 midfielders and Bowman, it might not be the most well balanced.
  16. Confirmed in Robinson's MFC TV interview yesterday.
  17. Anybody worked out what the structure is for the new "Reserve" format this year? Do we still need to play a certain number of U20s (or U21s or whatever), or can teams just pack their side with senior pros? Is it a merit based league or regional? Is there still the equivalent of a U20s cup? I haven't read or heard much about it.
  18. Hartley has been out for months and needs game time. Kipré, apparently, was playing hurt on Saturday. Would playing them tonight be "messing" or "no messing"?
  19. Print at home not available for the League Cup games, apparently.
  20. I haven't seen us win a game at Fir Park since I moved to the US in 1997 (and that's not because I haven't been to any games). I have seen us win games away from home - but Fir Park remains my jinx.
  21. Not that I enjoy these "fiascos" but, like last season, you only need to look at the results from our Premiership colleagues to see how precarious games are at this point in the season. Win our last two and we'll still top the group. I was more concerned about Dunne's injury and Kipré reportedly playing hurt for a part of the game.
  22. Because, as Robinson said after the match, he is already struggling to bring a number of his senior players up to full fitness and doesn't have enough competitive game time to achieve even that. Playing Turnbull in a meaningless 2nd half isn't nearly as useful as getting a new signing closer to full match fitness. And I say that as someone who wants to see our youngsters develop as much as anyone.
