  1. Avoid the Vaults has been standard (and good) advice since the 70s.

    Top 6?

No way 2 teams from the Premiership go down. It's a pretty weak bunch in the Championship play-off spots this season.

Here's what you said (it's the first thing you posted in the thread you started). Pretty clear you kicked off this thread to slag off his coaching ability. Oh, and two words for you: John Gardiner.

    Stevie Woods

You should have started a thread about his playing ability, then, instead of one about his coaching ability. Although, he'd struggle to make the top 5 worst keepers I have seen play for us. He's obviously a well respected and successful coach. You should be happy an ex-player has done so well for himself instead of giving us more material to laugh at your poor trolling efforts.

    Top 6?

If we do scrape a top 6 it seems that Hearts would be the team we'd overhaul. Like you say, though, it would need some big results against good teams.

How good a keeper was our current coach? Had you ever heard of him?
  7. He got game time in Feb. Early Feb as a sub twice, and starting the last 2 games against Aston Villa and Ipswich. February was not a good month for them, however - they played 5, won 1, drew 3 and lost 1. That would have been a good time for him to score.
  8. I watched the Preston game against Ipswich. Preston were dire and created nothing. If that was the standard they have been playing at since January, it will take more than Moult to fix it. Still, nothing like giving the new players time to settle, eh? Glad our fans would never be so quick to judge.

Butch Harmon won one satellite event in his professional golf career. He was Tiger Woods' coach for 11 years. Completely different skill sets.
  10. That's my wee team. Putting up a decent fight to avoid relegation.
  11. Moult played the full 90 against Ipswich last week. Unfortunately for him the entire team was mince and combined to create about one chance. I think he started the game before that too.
  12. Not sure if it helped us, but I think overall we are fitter. That showed towards the end of the game. After we weathered the storm in the second half we were still able to take the game to them. Same as the last game at Tynecastle.
  13. Probably seemed like a great idea after a couple of pot brownies.
  14. As far as the ref goes, let's just be happy he didn't give Hearts the pen at the death. It was never a pen, of course, but we've all seen those given.
  15. Not quite the same situation(!), but I was asked to ref a BB game for our juniors once, and even at that level you feel the need to not be seen to be a "homer". So I can imagine there is a lot more pressure to appear neutral at the professional level.
  16. The only thing that gets our fans more riled up that not being able to sit in a different seat from their ticket number is when other fans don't go a game that they did. We won. Settle down. If you were there, well done. Enjoy the victory instead of wasting your energy slagging off other fans that support the same team as you.
  17. Not given the circumstances for anyone traveling from outside Lanarkshire. I'm sure a lot of them didn't even bother making plans to head out after the weather chaos earlier in the week. And even yesterday, there were notices about no trains running on Sunday.
  18. Sadly, the only way for the refereeing standards to improve is for people who really care about it to get involved in the system. If the "best" we have don't improve, there's nobody to replace them. It's not like a football team where we can sell them on and bring in better options.
  19. Need to see it again, but on first showing I thought it had crossed the line just before Main touched
  20. I expect the TV option made it an easier decision for folks whose travel was a bit dodgy. Yesterday the papers were full of "most trains cancelled" type warnings. Glad we managed to get the game on at all. Kudos to everyone with a shovel the past couple of days.
  21. That's his contribution for missing out on the semi. Cheers, mate.
