  1. Aye, they have it listed on their website - on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event channels.
  2. Didn't realise the game was live on Sky. That'll be a work from home Wednesday, then.
  3. Was that Caulker that should have blootered Main's cross out for a corner at the near post? Whoever it was, well played.
  4. And that's just for the sofa in front of the telly.
  5. When did Ricky Reid play for us? Not a name I'm familiar with.
  6. I think Moult will do all right. My comment was more about how bad Preston were yesterday - they created zero chances, and that wasn't Moult's fault. Ipswich, under McCarthy, will do that to a game. I'm amazed that the Ipswich fans, who are used to a team that plays football on the deck, have put up with McCarthy for so long. Yesterday was Moult's 2nd start, I think, and it seems Alex Neil wants to play both Moult and Barkhuizen. If Preston get back to previous form, the goals will come. There are plenty of poor teams in that league, particularly in the lower half.
  7. If Preston keep playing the way the played today, I'll score before he does. They were dire. I assume it must have been a one-off, given their league position, but they created nothing and I think Moult touched the ball twice.
  8. Play one of our best games in 2018 against Killie and lose. Play one of our worst against Dundee and win. Fitba', eh? (The Preston - Ipswich game was just as bad)
  9. Listening to the 'Well game on Mixlr and watching Moult line up against Ipswich on the telly. Technology's grand.
  10. To everyone on the terraces (or at least me and my mates), he will always be Junior Bones.
  11. He's good at covering that up in interviews, though, with his "When I was wee I used to dream about playing in just one senior game for Motherwell." chat.
  12. Do we mean Brian Kerr or Fraser Kerr? I thought Fraser was an alleged 'Well fan (although that might be based on the fact he came through our youth system).
  13. I'm not sure we have any youngsters that play in his position that are being blocked from playing time.
  14. I'm not against looking anywhere for good youngsters, but our squad has been pretty solid this season. It's just when we need to accommodate senior players we tend to struggle.
  15. Lewis Grabban that scores the equaliser against Preston.
  16. Considering this month is probably the worst it will be for the season, it's in pretty good shape.
  17. Don't know if he's fit or not, but coming on in the 88th minute of games isn't going to help him. I see Connor Ripley's playing against his Dad's old team tonight.
  18. That's still not true, though, for the reasons I posted earlier. Even if exactly the same events occured in every game for every team, as soon as you have a human making decisions you are adding a bias. Unless that human chooses between pen/no pen, goal/no goal etc. exactly 50/50. So until every game for every team contains exactly the same set of events and the ref consistently makes yes/no decisions exactly 50/50, some teams will benefit more than others.
  19. Ciftci has to start just for the wind-up factor alone.
  20. It always has been. Tossing a coin will "even itself out" over the course of a large number of coin flips. Referees making penalty calls, linesmen flagging for offsides, strikers hitting the woodwork etc. are not independent, random events and will never "even themselves out".
  21. If that Accies OG hadn't happened so early, there's no telling how that game would have panned out. A bad result there and our 2018 might have been a lot worse. Pens aside, we need to be scoring in open play rather than relying on opinions of officials. That's how you avoid bad luck.
  22. No doubt Murphy's experiences down south improved him as a player - pity it's Rangers that are seeing the benefit. Even more amazing is an 8 goal game at Accies.
