  1. Far too many for me to pick a favourite, but from the one's I have seen in person: Some great goals from the Pettigrew/Graham combination. Marinello scored some crackers. When we had to beat Brechin (I think it was Brechin) to guarantee our promotion back to the SPL, everything was a bit tense until a young Andy Walker stayed calm to slot the opener. An even younger Paul Mills scoring at the death against Dunfermline at East End Park. The sweeping move that left Dougie Arnott at the end of a TC cross when we beat Rangers 2 - 1 at Fir Park. Brian McLaughlin on a mazy run beating half a dozen Accies players to score. Alfie Conn's lob against East Stirling that opened his account at Fir Park. Andy Walker's dummy to score in the '86 Skol Cup Semi against Celtic. The most spectacular by far was Bruce Cleland at Love Street. He picked up the ball at the half-way line and was still in the centre circle when he let one fly into the back of the net. We lost that game, though. One more I just remembered. We used to have a free-kick routine that involved Willie Irvine and Brian McLaughlin having a fake argument over who was going to take it - McLaughlin was the usual taker. In this routine, Irvine grabbed the ball and immediately after placing it chipped a delicate lob over the wall while a 'Well player peeled off to gather and shoot. I only ever saw it work once, and it was Ian Clinging who scored it against Airdrie.
  2. The piece I saw, McCall seems to be cringing every time they talk to him and call him "Rangers legend". I know it didn't end well, but the guy obviously loved his time at our club - BT Sport today only seemed to want him with his Rangers hat on whereas I think he would have been delighted for 'Flow and the club that they won. I don't normally like Sutton, but he was quite entertaining post-match.
  3. I'm happy to mess around with all that stuff. But with no disrespect to Texanwellfan who was the original requestor, I think he was just looking for a website stream. I have a $50 Android Set-top Box hooked into my telly for all my streaming services - legit and mibbe-not-legit.

Doesn't just feel good to have Carson in between the sticks, but also feels good to know his backup is solid too.
  5. I know. But only for Android. Like I said, I watched it on Mobdro myself, but not everyone runs Android.

I know he had a poor game, but according to Robinson he was pretty sick last night and not feeling well today. He was cajoled into playing so we didn't have to reshuffle our team.
  7. Of course. I wasn't intending to have a pop at you (or anyone else). Just wanted to save US fans the effort of looking for a TV channel to watch. I watched it with Mobdro myself.
  8. Motherwell TV usually posts 10s after the TV deals allow. Midnight I think.

Kipre took one for the team today, and kudos for that. If he hadn't been able to play we'd likley have ended up with McHugh in defence. Not a terrible option, but we needed him in midfield today.
  10. Agreed. When you get to the age of some od us auld yins you begin to wonder if you'll ever see us win a cup tie against this mob. Even the ndw version.

Kipre was sick, apparently, but encouraged to play by Robinson.
  12. On a different note, I need to visit our office in Chicago this week. So when I have to listen to all the Cubs fans hard luck stories from the playoffs, I'll be delighted to bore them with my stories about the team where I'm part owner.
  13. Final will be a different ball game, but I doubt anyone fancies playing us right now. Celtic will rightly be favourites, but if by some chance we win, it would be some achievement given the opposition along the way. For the first time in a long time we are getting the wee breaks you need to win a cup.

Agree about Moult, although I don't vote unless I'm at a game. Cult hero aside, he's easily repaid the offers we turned down - with interest. A class act, including the way he is dealing with the endless media questions about leaving us.
  15. Time to get the next wave of the recruitment drive under way.
  16. Lobbing the keeper has always been my favourite way for a striker to score.
  17. I hate to say it, by McCoist in the commentary box is a but of a lucky charm for us at Hampden.
  18. Was always a risk of that happening given that almost none of our guys have any big match experience. Hopefully, we get more big matches to bed them in. Oh, and Yaaaaaaas!
  19. Just glad we reciprocated with our "You can't play Kenny Miller" joker.
  20. It's not on BeIN in the US. BeIN is showing Roma vs Torino and the Atletico Madrid games this morning There are no broadcasts of Scottish domestic football in the US this season. Only the occasional international and European game. Believe me, I have looked into this. The contracts expired last season and the SPFL did not negotiate a new deal. cricfree.sc is my goto site for live streams. As long as you have a decent ad blocker and pop-up blocker it's a decent choice.
  21. I'm just hoping Kenny Miller doesn't make an appearance with a point to prove. Apart from that, as league form suggests, there's not a whole lot between the teams and would not be surprised if extra time was on the cards.
  22. I think there's a few who'll need to watch the highlights after they leave Hampden to find out the score.
  23. Worse than that. According to The Scotsman, those 10,000 empty seats mean we lose out on £62,500 of revenue from the gate splits.
  24. That's only because our club is one of many who has been happy to vote in favour of allocating them the lions' share of the cash every time the option is up for debate.
  25. They should rip up that grass and put down some bumpy, worn plastic.
