If they'd done that more often yesterday, it would have been better for them. The only time they created anything was when they played it out wide. Most of the rest of the time they were playing square ball after sqaure ball in their own half.

Watched the Togo game yesterday and the best thing about it was each half only lasted 40 minutes. Insipid stuff played in the middle of what looked like a building site, with the spectators having to watch from the bridge on the main road. Strange spectacle all round.

If there were issues with the old (multiple, I believe) databases then moving to a new ticketing system won't have solved that yet. It will just mean we have copied the bad info onto the new system. However, over the course of the season, that should improve as the correct details are entered and we have a single source for the data.

Makes you wonder why we bother with a pre-season. If you can't see that he was fitter in his last game than in his first, you need to take off your FatHigdon specs.

They certainly are. I often find myself switching those games off at the weekend and watching a Championship or League 1 game instead.

Last time I was there was when we were in the First Division. I seem to recall a 5 - 2 victory. Of course, that was when QoS played on real grass.

I'd like to see us win at Fir Park next time I'm over. I've seen us win away from home, and draw at Fir Park in recent years, but last time I saw us win there it was thanks to a Coyne/Arnott double.

If all we need is a backup player, McGuire will do just fine. If we are definitely losing one of the back 3 in the summer, then it makes more sense to try and bring him back.

Guys like Grimshaw only started bringning the goods after a consistent run of starts. I've heard Robinson talk about how good Bigi performs in training, but there's not doubt he hasn't been a good fit for this season's preferred style. The style we played against Accies suited him (and guys like Turnbull and Ciftci) much better, and it's no surprise their performances reflected that.

Agreed. Hopefully he'll be around and more involved next season. Or someone like him. We need somebody that can find a pass that doesn't involve lumping up the channels.

No doubt about that.

That's how any crowd control works at any event. It's about safety and keeping the peace. It's never about fairness, and if you're part of the majority, you get more leeway.
