  1. Kipre certainly blew it for the second goal. Looked like he was trying to play a cute pass instead of just belting it away. Easy to forget he's just a youngster, though, and still a bit raw. Hopefully he'll learn. Dunne is a bit older, but been out the game for a while. I think he needs game time to adjust to the Scottish game and not sure a spell in the 20s will do him as much good as first team action
  2. Tanner looked very sharp. The double chance that Bowman had started with Tanner on the right and by the time the ball had been played out the left, it was Tanner who popped up again to make the pass to Bowman. And, yes, he was a yard on when the offside was given. Really enjoyed the game on Alba. I think maybe Robinson liked the fact our tempo and intensity was there in the first half too - albeit with some mistakes. Campbell's first tackle laid down a great early marker.
  3. Nope. The highlights on youtube show him shaking hands with the Motherwell management before he shot down the tunnel. EDIT: Beaten to it by a slow moving Southerner! That Guinness I just had must have affected my New England reflexes.
  4. Must be national Blind Squirrels & Nuts day. Decent result to keep our unbeaten run going. Looking forward to watching it on Alba.
  5. cricfree.sc is showing a stream, but of course, that doesn't mean it will happen.
  6. I guess Petravičius could be playing as a trialist in the U20s until his clearance is finalised.
  7. For the interested reader, the concussion protocol followed by the SFA is this one.
  8. I love stats as much as the next man, and think I take a pretty realistic approach to where are likely to finish in the league most seasons. The overall level of performance so far this season is, however, an improvement, and I think that's where we can take some hope for a better campaign.
  9. Which entirely backs up my point about perspective (or lack of). I have never met Levein or Lennon, but those that have met Lennon almost unanimously say what a nice guy he is. Yet he is hated by many for the, almost pantomime villain role he takes in football. If I judge people at all, and I try not to, then I look at their actions, not their words. I get that football as entertainment needs heroes and villains, but let's not confuse that with "the most hated man in football." That's about as realistic as "the most hated man in Winterfell". It's fun to have targets of ridicule and abuse, but most fans forget that at the end of the day, most of these guys are good mates off the field. Anyway, I feel like I have contributed to taking this thread off track, so I'll leave it at that for now and get back to the game. 2 - 2.
  10. I didn't quote you or anyone else. And the discussion was about who was the most hated person in football. But apart from that, I agree.
  11. So we have David Goodwillie playing after being found guilty of rape (albeit in a civil court), and Craig Thomson at Edinburgh City - a convicted child groomer, but Levein is more hated because he didn't like Faddy? Who says fans lack perspective?
  12. What do they call him there? "The Lithuanian Guy Who's Played in England Then Went to Poland but is in Scotland Now"?
  13. Are we going to start using his actual name soon? Or at least, Deimi?
  14. Good to hear. Not going to get too excited yet, though, as Dom Thomas and Craig Moore were star men for the 20s too. I suspect this guy will be better though, given his international pedigree.
  15. Except, as someone pointed out, Bowman's wasn't a goal scoring opportunity because he was taken out after he shot (and missed), while Dunne was deemed to have tackled the ICT guy before he shot.
  16. All league games are winnable. None of them are "should win".
  17. Sounds like we did some good business moving Heneghan on for a tidy sum and bringing in a great replacement.
  18. The decent transfer window, wee cup run and decent start to the season feel that bit sweeter as a part owner of the club. Despite my complaints about a few aspects of the operations, it's been great to be a part of it overall. If anyone is on the fence about joining, I can highly recommend it.
  19. Robinson says in his post match that Dunne had the flu and probably shouldn't have started him.
  20. Nice to have options on the bench again when players are underperforming.
  21. Billy Davis demonstrates, in one interview, why he has been unemployable as a manager for the past 3 years. Conspiracy, conspiracy, conspiracy, they're beneath me, conspiracy, conspiracy, I'm brilliant.
