  1. Ended up being a good point considering we played 43 mins or so with 10 men (as Frear was instantly crocked when he came on). Carson's save at the end was tremendous.
  2. Wasn't that long ago it was the hefty total of points they took off us that kept them from being relegated.
  3. Maybe he's taking over the U20s at Rangers.
  4. I suspect it's a bit of both. One of those rare occasions where 'mutual consent' actually means what it says.
  5. Well it may or may not be related to his recent conviction for assaulting a taxi driver.
  6. I'd only be interested in that kind of loan if there was a serious possibility of a permanent signing at the end of it.

A significant number of seats in the East Stand are reserved by season ticket holders, so that limits where others can go.

I vote not doing anything. It's just fine as it is.

The fence was a recent addition. It used to be a gap - distance maintained by police dogs.
  10. When I googled "trial motherwell" I got the story about Scott Letich being fined 1300 quid in November for a fracas with a taxi driver
  11. Ally MacLeod was the carpet expert I seem to recall. His adverts were worse than our performance against Iran.
  12. I'll be at this one, so we'll most likely lose. Sorry. It's been years since I saw us win at Fir Park, or even pick up a point. I've seen us win away as recently as the Accies game in May, but I think the last time I saw us win at Fir Park, Tommy Coyne was playing! Fingers crossed for a change of fortune.
  13. Based on the last few results our priority needs to be a backup, or if he leaves - a replacement, for Hartley.
  14. I think we'll call him "the answer to a 2025 motherwell quiz night question that only Peter Elder got right"
  15. Maybe.... Then there's the "Airdrie" fan that runs the PR machine at Ibrox. It's no coincidence that guys like Ian Archer (Partick Thistle fan), Richard Park (Raith Rovers fan) and the guys on Off the Ball (to name a few) offer a much more entertaining view on things. Partly because they are biased towards their own clubs, and partly because they are open about it.
  16. I actually don't mind Willie Miller. I'm much happier to listen to someone who is open about their allegiances - then you can judge it for what it is. Much worse are the pundits who pretend they support less fashionable teams then spout OF-love repeatedly.
  17. Would be madness to break our financial model because it has started to work. This is what is supposed to happen.
  18. That is some cracking business. To keep him for the first half of the season thenget a transfer fee (with add-ons) is way more than I expected would could get.
  19. I'm still amazed the media bought in to the 10-11 million they allegedly spent over the summer. No way Dave King gave them that. And no way he will be giving that to the new gaffer.
  20. The big question mark over last night's second half performance, of course, is how much being 3 behind and having nothing to lose made a difference. It's always easier to play "catch up" when there's nothing at stake. Having said that, the 2nd half line up is the kind of team I'd prefer to see more often - they just need to prove they can perform consistently and win games over 90 minutes.
  21. I thought we were talking about us.
  22. Sounds like Newell isn't quite fit yet (whatever was wrong with him) so I'm guessing he won't be near the plastic for this one.
  23. I haven't watched on Alba yet, but good to hear Frear and Tanner left a good impression. I remain hopeful they will make a significant contribution in the second half of the season.
