He also plays left mid, so not counting my chickens yet...

I received 2 emails last week. One on 25th June giving information about who was running the ballot, dates etc. One on the 28th June, which was the regular weekly Society email that reiterated a lot of the info. The one on the 28th said if you didn't receive the earlier one with the details, to let them know by emailing them at well.society@motherwellfc.co.uk

I think when you are an EPL club like Newcastle, you need keepers like Gillespie who are basically coaches that help train the other keepers, but are good enough in a 3-deep injury crisis to step in. It's a strange life being a goalie.
-
When you have guys like Bellingham and Kane you always have a chance of scoring. When you play a must-win game and take zero shots in the first half, you go home early.
-
Nee!

He's been getting plenty of rest with the Canadian team.

While it's a good workout, I think DVSD play in the 5th or 6th tier of the Dutch Amateur leagues. Never hurts to sharpen up our scoring though, and looking at their website, the locals were really looking forward to playing us. I wonder if this will ever catch on in the Premiership.

Or as it's known in the trade, "The Sportscene Edit".

It's hard to believe that anyone who has watched football for more than 2 minutes can't grasp that good individual players can play for bad teams. We were one of the worst teams in Scotland last year, but Georgie Gent and Brodie Spencer were the attacking wing backs we needed. If you want to go back a little further, in 2002-03, we finished bottom of the league and were saved from relegation because Falkirk didn't meet SPL stadium requirements. That was the season Faddy scored 15 goals and established himself as a top player. Some might argue he was the attacking player we needed.

That's the beauty of this part of the season. Blank slate and every team's fans think "this could be a good one" with no results to prove otherwise.

Adidas also pay Arsenal 70 million per year for wearing it. That's where the bigger clubs earn kit revenue.
-
Dunno what all the fuss was about the new kit - it looks great.
-
I'd guess 50% or more of players have known injuries at any given point in time. Not signing any of them would limit our options.
-
Pretty standard at this stage of the season. Zero chances taken.
-
I hope he plays often, plays well and Rangers have one of their worst ever seasons.
-
Absolutely - wasn't criticising you. Just that when they have talked about safeguards in the past, the weasel words "very very unlikely" were later used.
-
And to be clear, they didn't say "the ground can't be sold" - they said it was "very very unlikely" that could happen. Which is a "very very" different kettle of fish.

The great thing about democracy is it gives everyone a voice. The terrible thing about democracy is that a vote from someone based on the colour of your tie counts the same as a vote from someone who has spent 5 years researching key issues.

Given the wide ranging opinions on every design, every season, I don't think fan input or votes will have much impact on the wider set of supporters. I'd expect similar proportion of love/hate/ok for one that was voted-in.
-
It's not an unreasonable point and one I'd be on board with. What if, however, the Well Society tells you that changing the design every year generates enough income to pay the salary of one player that season? Would it still be worth it?

June - if you are a new member who joined after 10th June you don't get to vote on the proposal.

Canada doing their best to keep Bair away from the League Cup (and on the bench again). Another 5 subs used and none of them Bair - although Jonathan David was good tonight.

Although some of my favourite players wore the jersey, the yellow Admiral effort with yellow shorts is in there. It was a lot more yellow than the picture suggests and barely a nod to our traditional colours. Never liked the JAAX Bukta version Maybe more controversial, I wasn't a fan of our Unotuchables And our esteemed leader's Zoom dragged this one into the gutter. But Number One in my list is the jester effort I'm not a fan of fluorescent colours or black on away shirts, so without further comment and, my least favourite of all shirts: As much as I disliked the yellow Admiral one at the top of the post, they also made one of my favourite away kits - so swings and roundabouts.
-
1913 - 24 comes close Not my favourite, but doesn't even enter my top 5 of worst kits (or top 10 if we include away kits).

The shirts aren't getting worse, you are all just getting older. They'll be creating a new dance for its release on TikTok.
