The reason for blanket bans it that it's just a lot easier to police than reviewing every players account for rule breaches. And in age where you can lay odds for first throw-in, first free kick, first booking etc. it's better just to keep things simple. I don't disagree. The strength for the middle of the park, though, is something we could easily develop with our sports scientist. Cadden came on leaps and bounds when he was put on his programme.

If you think fan ownership is unsustainable, who's left sustain it? You can give away all the tickets you like, but there needs to be a team to watch. One thing seems pretty sure. If the Society hadn't been around to lend money to the club in the past few seasons we could all have been going to Fir Park for our weekly groceries.

Growing up in Hamilton, the Accies derby was always more important. Play a team 3 or 4 times a season, however, and it stops becoming such a big deal.
