  1. Mandron scores apparently due to a Trevor Carson howler.
  2. If there is any striker out there converting "at least 1 in 3" they won't be anywhere near Fir Park. I'd be surprised if even Haaland is turning in those figures.
  3. Have you ever watched any cup game in any country at any time? One of the ideas behind the competition is to give teams in lower leagues a chance to win one-off games against higher league teams. It's part of the attraction. Take a scan through all the FA Cup results from this season and see how many teams have beaten opposition 2, 3 and 4 tiers above. A Scottish Championship team (on their home turf) in 4th place beating a Scottish Premiership team in 8th place on would be one of the least surprising results in the history of the cup. Can you imagine how boring it would be if the higher placed team won every tie in the Cup? Wouldn't even be worth playing - they could just go straight to an OF final every season. I know you feel the need to post something negative every match, but that was a poor effort. 3 - 1 to the silent a-sash-ins.
  4. The fact that we had so many good performances but Spittal was ahead of them all speaks to just how good he was tonight. The new midfield combination is starting to click too.
  5. And the Warnock love-in. I've nothing against the man, but I don't think he's hilarious just because he speaks with a Yorkshire accent, says words like "muck" and shouts at refs.
  6. Vale's finish was excellent too. For all the talk about "poking it home" the replay on the stream proved it was a bit better than that.
  7. He's already slagged off all of Scottish football, his players and his employer. Not sure who has left to be annoyed with.
  8. Well that and because Arsenal told him to go there. I really liked the guy and would loved it if he'd stayed. He played like an old school centre forward though, so not sure he needs total football to be more productive.
  9. Must vote poll. Make your choice...
  10. Classic hammering. 3 goals first half. Quieter second half. 2 late goals. Pleasing.
  11. Ideal world would be a strong performance and a win tonight and a blatantly offside goal to beat Imrie on Friday.
  12. We just gave Theo our player of the month, so one of them is going to end up disappointed.
  13. If we had someone who was based at the club full time the complaints on here would be "why are we wasting a wage on someone who just watches videos in his office all day instead of located for easy access to all the games in our target market?"

    The Pitch

I've heard unconfirmed reports there has been some root damage due to the hot air emitted from the Hunter Stand.
  15. What does that even mean? That reads like the laziest clichés in the worst newspapers. If we get something less than 3 points is there some new rule that means we're forbidden from winning any more games this season? I suppose "good to win game, but a draw wouldn't be a disaster and even if we lost we've started to show better form that will likely pick up sufficient points to stay safe this season" match is a bit long winded.
  16. Another greetin' faced Derek Adams post-match interview is on the cards. Theo Bair brace for the win.
  17. 3 points off play-off spot, 4 points of 6th. Onwards and upwards or relegation battle? You can post those thoughts in a different thread where they care, but after you've made your choice...
  18. Would be a better offer for Arsenal too, as I'm sure we weren't paying nearly as much of Mika's wages as his new club are
  19. Our stats this season have been OK in the goals scored column and abysmal in the goals conceded. If we can eliminate about half the stupid defensive mistakes and maintain the goals, we could be pushing for top 6. If we don't eliminate the defensive mistakes, I see us 8th or 9th. As poor as we have been, I don't think we have the look of relegation fodder at this stage. You can normally see that in the players and manager's eyes, as well as their body language on the pitch. Not to mention the post-match interviews
  20. So KVV had "every club in Scotland" interested and he chose Killie? He must love a pie. I predicted he'd be back to his regular 7 or 8 goals a season, so I suppose we'll see Notradamic I can be. Thanks for the transfer money Kev and mind your achilles on the plastic. Oh, and 2 - 1 for us tomorrow.
  21. Nice to see Crags score a goal that wasn't into his own net.
  22. It was a great season and I really enjoyed visiting all those grounds that have long since disappeared or been "upgraded". I was also at Tynecastle for that game and was primarily interested in who was going to end up our top scorer - but then that half time score was announced and it was hilarious.
  23. Special mention for Derek Murray. He used his own unique hybrid of zone and man marking that meant he was never close enough to tackle or in the right space to cover.
  24. SK put one over on Robinson there. "Oh, eh, aye we were really really hoping he stayed. Hate to lose a player of that quality"
  25. Still having flashbacks about that one
