Most pleasing thing was seeing a Motherwell side rise to the occasion at Ibrox rather than fold like a cheap suit.

I imagine even if he is crocked we won't be releasing that information for public consumption until the last possible minute.
  3. It's another great reason for us to score early. If we can kill things off in the first 15 mins, it will be a lot less tempting for any official to make a borderline call against us.
  4. Exactly this. The Thistle friendly apart, we score goals at home. Get in about them early and just finish it off.
  5. We played like we were up against a decent 1st Division side rather than facing our bogey team at Ibrox. Keep that attitude and stay professional, we should do OK on Sunday.
  6. It certainly does guard against complacency. Be happy if we score another couple in the first half on Sunday to kill it, though. It's more nerve-racking than the extra time in our Cup Final win.
  7. I'd have been happy with a draw or even a 1 goal defeat tonight, as I fancied us to win at home. Will still be a nervy game on Sunday, but couldn't have asked for much more.
  8. The one positive for me is that we don't have McCall going on about how great Rangers are and how we'd need to play well and hope they have an off day for us to get a result. Baraclough, at least talking to the media, is much more upbeat about putting on a performance against a hostile crowd. Like McManus said in his interview yesterday - if you don't look forward to occasions like this, maybe you need a different career.
  9. He won 4, drew 2 and lost 3 of his last 9.
  10. I expected him to say what he did, because it seems pretty clear he isn't sacking anyone. Time will tell if that is an accurate read.
  11. Not at all. Your argument is that a million is not only a trivial amount, but secured by an asset worth much more. If that's the case, why did it take Boyle so long to find someone to buy the club? There should have been a queue of people (including people like yourself) ready to make such an investment based on the huge leverage opportunity. All that risk free return on investment - it's like printing your own currency. Or maybe (just maybe) you know nothing about business and were spouting bollocks.
  12. So given the value of this asset, why didn't you borrow a million from the bank and lend it to the club? Presumably the bank would have been delighted with the security you were offering, and you could implement all your great ideas on how to run the club from top to bottom.
  13. Then I'm guessing you don't remember how it felt the last time we were relegated.
  14. Yes. The owner already has said as much.
  15. Wonder if all these fans will still be in their seats if we go 3 - 0 up on them by half time on Sunday.
  16. Don't sweat it. The only people that care are NewRanger's fans. The rest of the footballing world will be joining us in laughing at their pathetic whining.
  17. It was Jack Nicklaus that said he always loved to hear other golfers complaining about the condition of a golf course they were about to play, because he knew they were already making excuses in their head and wouldn't be challenging him that week. It's great to hear all this in the media, and McCall pushing the line of "we are tired because we've played extra games" because it means they are not as confident as some would believe. Let them keep moaning and let us use that as motivation to beat them.
  18. Rangers player, still employed by Rangers, writing a pro-Rangers article in the Daily Ranger. Not even worth discussion.
  19. Given the quality of the email that was accidentally sent out a while back, I'm not necessarily sure this one is a phishing attempt. However, it should be pretty easy to find out by checking the full header details (and, of course, calling the club).
  20. Stuart McCall might still have the password he used to send out his club emails...
  21. You're not going to the the game then, presumably.
