cricfree.tv is one site that works reliably for me in the US for all the BT Sport and Sky Sport streams. No installs required. I'm sure there are others too. -
The Rangers V Motherwell Spfl Playoff Final 28/05/15

Well, let's pump them so we are guaranteed SPFL football next season. We all know the sudden league reconstruction won't keep them in the Championship. -

The club can't evaluate every single request for a ticket on a case by case basis, though. When there are less tickets than there are fans, there isn't a fair approach. It's impossible to please everyone, and a few deserving cases will always be disappointed. Season tickets, however, at every club in the country (and probably the world) are sold on the basis that the holder is granted access to every home game. That's one of the selling points, and they are always advertised that way. You can argue if it's fair or not, but it's certainly clear. -
I have some sympathy with the 4-4-2 dilemma. We have proved over the past few seasons that we are pretty useless at any formation that involved Higdon or Sutton as a lone striker, and Skippy doesn't really suit that role either. I don't think Baraclough underesitmated the level of football in the SPFL so much as not realising how poor we were. He likely thought a team that finished 2nd the prior season couldn't be that bad. The guy has had a lot to deal with, from being handed Black as an assistant to a complete restructuring of the club from top to bottom. Not to mention having to bring in a large number of players to integrate into the team with zero time. His hit rate there isn't too bad with Laing, Johnson, Pearson, Skippy and Grant (when he plays in centre mid) all having fitted in pretty quickly. Giving Dom Thomas and Erwin more playing time was also a bonus compared with McCall's attitude to blooding youngsters. Would love if it those 2 made a big impact in the play off.

It's lose - lose for the club though, because there just isn't a fair way to allocate such a limited number of tickets. It's not fair for people who can't travel to stand in line, and it wouldn't be fair for people who stand in line for 3 hours to lose out to someone who just picks up the phone and secures one. -

They'll be glad they couldn't make it after we cuff them in the 2nd leg* *mibbe -
The "heavy" investment came after we were up shit creek. It's rare for any team to be able to buy itself out of that kind of trouble. You don't ever get the best players in the January window. However, I think the only strange thing about this season was the timing. We had a massive rebuild 2 seasons ago, and it was likely that was going to have a negative impact on the team. What happened last season was, by any stretch, remarkable. I have no idea how you can lose so many first team players and win as many games as we did. What we're seeing now is what I expected then. But, win the play-off and it will still be one of the sweetest ever

If McCall treats this like a European tie we should be favourites. -

If it was a one off game I'd be less optimistic, but if we can keep it tight in the first leg we are capable of winning against any Championship side at Fir Park. -
To be fair, Moore was a doing well before his injury and had a good partnership with Erwin in the U20s. Unless there is something going on we don't know about, I think he's worth the risk of a preseason to see how he recovers.

That's the differentiator for me too. Both great keepers, but Ruddy had a howler once in a while that Randolph rarely experienced. Ruddy seems to have continued that pattern at Norwich. Of course, there is some bias for me as Ruddy was only ever a loanee, while Randolph was one of us.

Must be great to be so young. 2 actual relegations (plus 2 years struggling to make top 6 in the First Division) apart, we have finished bottom with worse teams than this another couple of times. Saved once by league reconstruction and once by dodgy stadium seating rules.

Feels like some fans have been itching for this thread to start since Christmas. It doesn't matter who we blame, we don't make the decisions for next season. The usual suspects will be rolling out the usual names. It's been a bad season - not the worst - but very bad. The good news is that we are more secure financially and have already started the necessary restructuring of the club's operations. Imagine the state we'd be in if we were relegated this time last year. If we beat Rangers in the play-off final, this place will suddenly be the happiest place on earth. But the time for a post season analysis is post season. If you don't have the stomach for seasons like this from time to time, Motherwell is not the team for you.

All the more reason to beat them 5 - 0 in the first leg.
-
He's certainly good enough for the top flight in England. He's better than Ruddy (who is no slouch, to say the least) and Ruddy performed well at that level.
-
I think the reason we are in a play off is because we are stinking too.
-
We won't sell out even if we are 3 up after the first leg. We're not a sell-out kinda team.

Got to be something to do with "Brothers-in-Law"
-
Can we bring back Wulllie P and Bobby G at the same time?
-
Unfortunately, that ship sailed the first time we let a TV company shift a kick-off time. All they care about is spectators at home or in the pub.
-
Would certainly go down as a worthwhile season if we managed to beat Rangers in the play-off.
-
So basically, all we need is better players playing to higher standard more often for less money.
-
In the past 10 or 15 years a change of personnel hasn't seemed to have helped us much at Ibrox. Of course, it would make a great end to a bad season if we beat them in the play-off final. More difficult than usual given the SFA's desire to see them back in the top flight. 2 or 3 dodgy pens per half likely the minimum required from the refs.

TBF, Baraclough wasn't even meant to be there. This was set up as a Les Q&A, although I believe the gaffer was chatting to fans later in the evening. I have no idea what the solution to funding a club like ours is other than finding someone like the current owner who wants to give away his money rather than lend it. The SFA and SPFL are incapable of generating anything extra on our behalf, so it's up to the club. It's all very well saying we'd accept a lower standard, but we have a lower standard this season and nobody's accepting it. Same when we say we want to see the youngsters given a chance, and then moan when they don't play to a consistent level. If there was a simple answer, there would be a hundred clubs around the UK queuing up to implement it. I'm just glad it wasn't a South American consortium.

Get the adidas strip back. That's what we wore when we were in the first division.
