A well balanced midfield has ball winners and ball players. I don't remember many people complaining that Davie Cooper and Bobby Russell weren't doing enough tracking back. Too much emphasis on hard work over skill is why the Scottish game suffered over the years.

Drifting in and out of games is often what ball players do; especially if their team mates dont pass to them. It's all about balance of course, but you can't fill a midfield with Craig Reids and hope to open a defence with a killer pass.

If we don't get relegated, will you cheer up a bit? Investigation/Inquiry is certainly overdramatic. Every business has regular reviews of its performance and I'm sure our Board is no different. Having said that, it's pretty well documented how and why we ended up in the state we're in, it just seems many posters on here either haven't bothered to keep up or are looking for something more sinister as a reason. Unlike many who want to point fingers, however, I expect our new owner will be looking at ways to move forward in a positive way rather than live in the past. That tends to be how successful business people operate - learn and move on.

Difficult to be 100% certain of course, but is seems like his injury problems finally caught up. I think we were lucky/smart enough to get the best from him - and another good piece of business at the end of the day.

He didn't do badly compared to John Gardiner, but he was pretty poor stuff.

A game in October 2013 has nothing to do with the point I was making given I was talking about his later run in the team in Mar/Apr 2014.

Paying off our debts so we could survive was probably a smart investment. I liked Anier, but don't rate him as highly as Ojamaa. He played well in a team that was playing well, but he'd probably be struggling as much as the rest of our mob right now. 11 goals in 4 years (9 of them with us) means the jury is still out for me on whether he is a genuine striker or not, but certainly put decent shifts in when he was fit. Good bit of business on our part to move him on for a tidy sum.

So was Gunnar on many occasions, but his haters blamed that on him too and said it was his job to organize them and give them confidence.
