I vote we put a 50 year gagging order on it.

It seems like it was Cadden and Hall that got the individual specialist attention last season. I'd hope Thomas was on it this season, but I haven't heard any mention of it. -

I don't disagree. The strength for the middle of the park, though, is something we could easily develop with our sports scientist. Cadden came on leaps and bounds when he was put on his programme. -

Was a bit surprised he didn't go out on loan last season as, early on, McGhee mentioned his name as the kind of player who would benefit from that. I think he has suffered from being close enough to the the first team to keep him around, but not quite ready for the step up. -
Aye, we have parked in the street since the 70s. Even for games with 20k crowds there was always space. Never been a problem and, like you say, only 5 mins or less away.

If all this concern is about young fans, maybe we need to cut out the paedo songs. -
Scottish Premiership Partick Thistle V Motherwell Sat 24 Sep 15:00

Thistle seem to have been our bogey team for as long as I have been watching Motherwell. Just in case it wasn't as bad as I thought, I checked out our head-to-head on Statto.com - and it's actually a little worse than I thought. That'll learn me. 73 Thistle league wins compared to our 64, with 47 draws. We have won at Firhill 21 times out of 91 in the league. I think we can make this 22, but it will be tough. -

Maybe by modern day, social media abuse standards. -
His drought at Burnley was pretty severe. Didn't manage a single goal for them.

Who was it standing behind him (I didn't really pay attention when I was watching the highlights)? He looked off and, I guess, could have been flagged as the ball was hit. -
Was watching the game on Alba and the commentary was almost drowned out by the Tannoy. On the plus side, I know the numbers for the draw.

Scoring more than one goal has always been my preferred tactical approach. -
Going way off topic with the Ins & Outs, but the club has to be self-sustaining. It doesn't matter if it's the Well Society or Fred Moneybags that owns it. If you think fan ownership is unsustainable, who's left sustain it? You can give away all the tickets you like, but there needs to be a team to watch. One thing seems pretty sure. If the Society hadn't been around to lend money to the club in the past few seasons we could all have been going to Fir Park for our weekly groceries.

Growing up in Hamilton, the Accies derby was always more important. Play a team 3 or 4 times a season, however, and it stops becoming such a big deal. As for Airdrie, I'm amazed at how people easily accept them as the real deal after they were liquidated and came back only via the Clydebank / Airdrie Utd route. That's the kind of thinking that let NewRangers convince the media they are OldRangers. -
Campbell will be used when he's ready. According to Craigan the players in the U20s aren't as ready to step up as some fans think they are, and I trust his judgement. I'd expect Campbell to be getting games this year too, but we're not exactly swamped with midfielders right now.

I'm guessing his role was created in anticipation of the Well Society taking over the club and engaging as many fans as possible to participate.

The most cringeworthy title I have heard, and seems to be becoming more popular, is "Client Success Manager".

I've been watching this mob so long now, every game is a "would be nice if we won, but won't let it spoil my weekend" game. -

Our record against "poor Hamilton sides" over the years isn't exactly stellar. Hopefully we will score more than once. -
Vigur's goal against Aberdeen was OK.

I think McLeish has proved time and time again he is a decent coach, but terrible talent spotter. He tweaked wee Tommy's team's tactics and had them playing well, but then failed miserably when it was time to rebuild his own. The reason he got an easy ride from the media is because he was quite articulate and capable of dealing with them. That, plus his success as a player meant the average "how do you feel?" journo thought he was a genius.

McCloy left the club before I started going to games. It was his leaving that paved the way for McCrae. So I only remember him at Rangers. We got Bobby Watson and Brian Heron in exchange, so not a bad deal for us. Sproat was certainly entertaining and good keeper, but not the best I have seen. I remember one snowy day at Muirton where he had a mini snowball fight with fans while the play was at the other end.

Same as against Dundee. We can't score. -
Even with investors who wiped out their bank loans and gave them a good deal on their debt, United ended up skint and relegated. I'm much happier with our current model.
