I have seen a few people comment on this, but not quite sure why there will be a difference in this summer's transfer pot if The Society owns the club. The strategy implemented by Les will be continued, I imagine, which includes selling players, bringing through youngsters and spending small transfer fees on guys like Moult to recoup a bigger return on investment. Running a budget on break-even doesn't preclude spending money. It just means that we need to get a return on the money we do spend.

While there has never been an age restriction on good taste, it's true that the wisdom of years leads to the appreciation of the finer things in life. Now all you youngsters can get back to instagramming selfies with your cans of Special Brew while I sip my 25 year old single malt.

If you have to rely on other results, the only team to blame is ourselves. Delighted we are up the right end of the table, though. Anything else will be a nice bonus.

If we have to beat Celtic to be sure, that's fine too.

While I'm sure it was a good night out, I think the event itself was a tough sell. I'm not sure fans are too interested in celebrating the 25th anniversary of a cup win. Apart from reminding us how long it is since we won a trophy, the nature of our club running so many events and giving so much access to the players probably means everyone who has ever wanted to speak the players or ask questions has had ample opportunity - which is a good thing, obviously. Maybe if there is another 25 years before we win a trophy teh 50 year will have a bigger turnout!

Long term, it should be more than just a spreadsheet or database and more of a CRM system. Not my area of expertise, but there might be some members who know more about it.

TBF, Hall and Cadden have established themselves are regulars and Laing, Thomas, Leitch and Kennedy have recently been able to step up to good effect when required. If we can keep giving those guys game time over the next few weeks, I don't think it would harm our chances any.

Whether or not that's true, I suspect now newRangers will be rejoining us next season, every player in Scotland will be linked with them in the next few months.

Moult has been terrific this season. The big question in the summer will be, if we get a decent offer, do we sell him while he's hot? I imagine we will move either him or Johnson on given the needs and philosophy of the club. If that's the case we need to hope the same scouting infrastructure that identified him can deliver the goods again.

I'm hopeful it was our new scouting system that identified those 3 rather than Baraclough, but I guess time will tell.

When it's a choice between Celtic and Rangers, of course he's a Celtic man. Aberdeen was where he was winning European trophies, though, so a little more impartial when it comes to choosing between those two.
