I'm always amazed when private deals suddenly become public knowledge. Either football is the only business in the world where people discuss their contract negotiations in the open (and don't mind them being shared on the internet), or these stories are just stories. I have no idea if he will end up with us or not, but I tend not to believe people that claim knowledge of the offers/deals etc.

I think this is a key point in any tactical discussion. You can have the best tactics in the world, but if the players don't execute, or are just off form, they won't work.

What's the point in trying to reason with the ref? When you are 5 years old you learn not to argue with them. They never change their mind and players shouldn't be getting involved.

Based on our lack of selling the last couple of seasons, I wouldn't be surprised if we had to sell 2 players.
