  1. You can create surveys for free with google docs. This site has a guide, as do many others.

It wasn't elite, you just had to sign up as an interested party. I think FSA rules would prevent an unsolicited email to anyone who hadn't formally registered an "indication of interest".
  3. Exactly. Even when you're a kid playing the game, "don't retaliate" is hammered into you.
  4. See, that's just lies. I'm into kits from around then and I don't hold it in high regard. So it's not "everyone".
  5. A wee bit surprised at that - nothing particularly special about that design,
  6. Of course she means it. Just be prepared to hear about it in every argument you have over the next 50 years or so.
  7. I expect it would take more than that.
  8. Even though there was no hoop, this is still one of my favourite kits. I'm getting all nostalgic now
  9. No, because I believe the barriers are can be converted into fold-down seats for UEFA games.
  10. Let's not overlook this paragraph: So it's not just an SPL decision.
  11. Aye, the Wales kit looked much better, as did the Coventry City home version. In fact, I liked the Wales one so much I bought the Subbuteo team with that shirt.
  12. Exactly. Sometimes you just have to take personal responsibility. If it's slippy, invest in some grippy boots and be careful. If it's too slippy for you and you're making a non-essential journey (like a football match), turn around and go home.
  13. Advertising our own TV service on our own Official web site would cost nothing. If nobody new signs up, then no harm done (and it's still positive publicity). If we get even one new subscriber, then it was worth it. Think about the BBC and how often they advertise their own programmes on their own channel.
  14. Not a complaint about the service itself, but my biggest issue with Motherwell TV is the lack of any obvious link from the official site. If it was me, I would have a large banner across the top of the page, advertising the service and encouraging people to sign up.
  15. I liked the design when it came out, but that particular version is hideous. It was a disgusting shade of brown that that mock-up doesn't come close to capturing.
  16. And in the spirit of Christmas, for every 10 quid you spend, 1 pound will be donated to the salary of a Hearts player of your choice. You will also receive a photo of the player you sponsor and receive regular updates on his progress during the year.
  17. It's probability that takes care of that. No jinxes required.
  18. I like the Bundesliga's financial model and think it's one that the other European countries should adopt. They do, however, have the advantage of over 1 billion Euros in TV and sponsorship revenue to share between teams before the gate receipts are accounted for. They do try and keep the teams on a more equal footing though and the quote below sums up how that brings in the fans: "In the last three years of the Bundesliga we have three different cup winners and three different champions," Seifert says. "Sepp Herberger, the coach of the West German team that won the 1954 World Cup, said: 'You know why people go to the stadium? Because they don't know how it ends.'"
  19. I'd accept 1.5 million on the spot for any of our players.
  20. On his way home from the Rangers game?
  21. I think it's more a case of our squad not being big enough. If we lost one or two players in Jan, even with the youth players, we'd have a very thin first team pool to choose from. It's never a bad idea to bring in quality when it's available (assuming this guy is quality, of course).
  22. statto.com will take you all the way back to the 1890/1891 season.
  23. That was back in the day when, in Scotland, it was the home team that wore their change strip if there was a clash. When I was a kid it always felt a bit special to watch us play in that white effort under the floodlights on a cold Wednesday night.
  24. I have no idea why they stopped selling it. When I moved out here in 1997 we used to get one SPL game a week plus highlights of the others - albeit on a delayed transmission. Maybe the TV stations lost interest in buying or the SPL lost interest in selling, but I would imagine there is still a market for it on the Fox Soccer channel or similar.
