  1. Exactly - plus we need your gate money
  2. In a job that is based 100% on results, not picking your best team every week would be mental.
  3. $23.97 sent (which should work out to be £15)
  4. Me too, but I'm guessing that will be a wee bit tricky at the stadium.
  5. Not so sure about that. SPF 45 means that 45 mins slathered up in it in the sun is equivalent to 1 minute not slathered up in it. I don't know any other interpretations, and this one is from the American Cancer Society. If that wasn't the case, I think I'd have seen the lawsuit by now. Regardless, slap it on, wear a hat, drink plenty of water and stay in the shade as much as possible. I'm a big fan of the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer as even at high SPFs you don't end up sweating like a fat lass.
  6. If he is looking for regular football, he might be disappointed. Even if Randy is away, I think Hollis is a banker to be first choice.
  7. Of course it's not an impossible task - it's what used to make the straight knockout format of the European Cup so much better than the CL. However, it's a formidable task and while I fully expect the players to believe it's an attainable feat, as a fan, I won't exactly be shocked if we don't make it to the next round.
  8. Good signing - if he can play centre half.
  9. Ach, don't worry, you'll manage just fine. I get by with SPF 45 (although they sell up to 100 in the shops here). Last couple of weeks it was between 38 and 40C here some days and even a peely-wally bloke like me copes in that. Wear a hat and, more importantly if you are on the booze, stay hydrated. Basically drink as much water as you do alcohol.
  10. Sounds like it will be like Hampden when we play Queens Park.
  11. Aye, same here - all good again
  12. You need to go to "Live Events" and then click the Continue button. But right now it will do your head in.
  13. Is it just my MFC TV connection that keeps cutting in and out. It s al m st tot lly unlis en ble
  14. So he could watch other people sort it out and then claim the credit?
  15. Maybe, but I'm not 100% convinced. Guys like Porter, Jutkiewicz and Blackman looked comparatively unfit when they joined up with us and took a few weeks to get up to speed. Also, being athletic is not the same as bulking up. Guys like Wenger have focused on making players athletes, but the English game still suffers from 'big and hard = better'.
  16. They also had Murphy away as a done deal when he was having signing talks last season. It makes sense that we might have to sell a player this year. However, his press comments about staying for the CL being the right decision makes it sound like he wants to stick around until the end of the month at least.
  17. Aye, thank as always for organizing this.

    New Season

Agree with this. We don't have a big enough squad to handle a push on both fronts.

    New Season

Good argument if goals scored could be extrapolated.

    New Season

Pace and skill and no goals. That is why we need our top scorer in the team.
  21. Like most SPL bosses, his hands are likely tied until everyone knows what is happening with the Sevco debacle.
  22. That is a direct quote from McCall's MFC TV interview. Makes it sounds like he is looking at Hateley as a midfield option.
