  1. I know who has given you a negative rating without even looking.
  2. If you don't have it already, you could try downloading a browser with flash support such as this. Then you can try a site like atdhenet.tv or http://www.firstrowsports.eu/ for a link to the game on the day. Also, if you can bear it, and depending where you are, you might find a Celtic bar showing it live on here: http://www.celticbars.com/barsu.html
  3. He had at least one good game when St. Johnstone papped us out the Cup at Fir Park.
  4. We learn never to listen to your predictions.
  5. When Dundee Utd. reached the UEFA Cup final, wee Tommy's team gave them a guard of honour at Fir Park. We then proceeded to beat them. If one for Celtic resulted in the some outcome, then bring it on Otherwise, no thanks.
  6. Mooning would be sufficient - no need to stick a finger up our arses.
  7. Randolph reminds me somewhat of Pat Jennings. Almost always seems to be in the right place, and needs to make fewer spectacular saves. I also give Randolph the nod ahead of Ruddy because he had the commitment to sign for us rather than come up on loan. Might not make him a better player, but it makes him a top bloke.
  8. Probably some backroom staff at Barca trying to get the lowdown on our players before our upcoming Champions League tie.
  9. There are a lot of 'Well fans who are Leeds fans and still support them after newco.
  10. too, many, commas, but, I, like, the, idea.
  11. Agree with that. If Rangers are found guilty of cheating, I'd relegate them to Div 3 and fine the newco the equivalent of the loss of TV revenue to be distributed amongst the affected SPL teams. Simple if somewhat unenforcable.
  12. Where would they go? Thanks to the current economy, there are many more players looking for professional contracts than available slots at clubs. It is still very much a buyers' market, and at a club like ours, getting the chance to play first team football at 18 or 19 is a better deal than 100 quid a week extra in your back pocket.

    The Run In...

Yes. You'll need to make them trickier than that.

    The Run In...

Right, and those are the only 2 teams we have played this season. It was all doom and gloom on these boards before we beat Dunfermline, Hearts and Hibs in successive games. Even for 'Well fans, I'm surprised about the level of negativity on here. It's never pretty at the end of a season when you need to fight for points, but I would have expected a little more buzz around the place. We are 5 points clear, 5 games to play and looking to win a a potential Champions League spot; something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. It's OK to be a wee bit excited.
  15. That's exactly my point. 'Luck' only 'evens out' for random events over a very long term. With human bias and non-random events it is unlikely to ever happen ever, far less in such a small sample size as foootballer's career.
  16. Statistically, over such a small sample as an entire career, that is not even close to true. While the law of large numbers applies to certain random events, it wouldn't apply here due to the human element and the fact that footballers do not play millions (or even thousands) of games.
  17. It's always easier to play catch-up than lead from the front. If Utd. or Saints get within a point or two, they will have to start dealing with the pressure too and it's a whole new ball game. I'd much rather be 5 points ahead than 5 points behind right now, and I think we will do it.
  18. We're 5 points ahead at the moment. Our fate is in our own hands. You can't ask for better than that at this stage of the season and no reason to be worrying about what other teams do. Just need to focus on taking care of our own business.
  19. So you weren't sure about him, but one bad game means he's mince?
  20. Big games like beating Hearts and Hibs back to back when needed? Let's not panic yet.
  21. It wasn't just the rotation, though. They were obviously under orders not to get injured or suspended before the Cup Final and played out the season like pre-season friendlies.
  22. I disagree with that too. I don't think we ran out of legs, I think McCall convinced his players to keep something in reserve for the Cup Final so we coasted after the split. I didn't agree with that approach then and still feel it backfired, but it did seem like a conscious choice from the Manager. St. Johnstone and Dundee Utd. have been on our trail for weeks. The gap fluctuates depending on our respective schedules, but when we have needed results (like beating Dunfermline, Hearts & Hibs) the guys have done the business. Of course things are likely to get nervy, but the trailing teams haven't suddenly turned into world beaters just because lost to Kilmarnock. I'd much rather be in our position than theirs, and I'm sure if they do get closer they will start feeling the pressure too.
  23. I don't believe that. We got into the Champions League spot despite poor performances against the OF this season. Another poor performance doesn't mean we can't get the necessary points elsewhere to close the deal. Not saying we shouldn't try, but I won't be panicking of we lose.
  24. eplsite.com and atdhenet.tv typically have good streams too.
  25. I don't see it listed, but there is usually no problem getting a stream. What's more of a problem is getting up early to watch us get gubbed. Fair ruins my breakfast
