I could believe the offer has been made, but I'd be surprised if it's been accepted this early. If I was Sutton, I'd be waiting until a few days before transfer deadline to see what offers are on the table.

Boyle's not an idiot. You can bet that there will be a provision in there that if the fans do something stupid there will be an option to refuse or, in the extreme, buy back the shares.

Doesn't matter that it was his trailing leg. The tackle was nasty and the fact that he missed with his leading leg doesn't mean the intent wasn't there (and there are rules to deal with intent).

Majstorovic's challenge on Sutton could have been red. Lasley's challenge was equally dangerous - the only difference was his he didn't make as clean a contact (which is irrelevant from a rules perspective).

Sums it up for me. At the end of 90 minutes I remember being shattered, and how quiet the Motherwell end seemed at that stage. By the time Kirky scored, there wasn't much left in the tank, emotionally. It was one of those occasions where the real enjoyment didn't come until after it finished.
