  1. Aye, but by not supporting them you would be giving them your full support.
  2. You've just proved my point.
  3. So if Celtic gub us 6 - 0, will you be turning up to re-live the entire 90 minutes in the Cooper the next day? I've offered up plenty of ideas over the years, but seeing as we are talking about away games on TV, here's one. Live internet feed of the game to overseas fans (for a fee). Downloadable highlights (edited by MFC) after the game. Here's another idea. Crack a smile on yir sour puss.
  4. Meaning, "Don't go running to the boards and complain like auld sweetie wives if the deal isn't completed by midnight"
  5. Aye. While I applaud the initiative, it wouldn't be something I would be interested in all that often. And are we planning to show games where we get gubbed?

    Aberdeen

Even the report on the 'fishul Aberdeen website said it crossed the line and there as no doubt it was a goal.
  7. Indeed. And every time we scored the crowd would need to contemplate clapping with one hand.
  8. And when you ask for a hot dog at the kiosk you just say "Make me one with everything".
  9. I think it's a good choice to take us to the end of the season. While I've always been a fan of Brown, however, I'm not sure I want him to be boss for longer than that.
  10. So we should have locked everything away when Paul Quinn and Bob Malcolm were about Fir Park every day? Or are we just talking about these particular known criminals?

    Faddy

That's the other danger. For fans who had never seen Brian McLair the first time around, they must have wondered what the hell was going on.

    Faddy

If he is still playing to a decent standard at 33, then he'd be mad to come back and play for us when he could be earning top dollar in England. A footballer's career is far too short to be sentimental.
  13. The Duke, every time. Goalscorers are difficult to come by at the best of times. It would be much easier to sign another keeper from elsewhere than find someone who can bag 20 goals or so a season.
  14. If you want an example, for year end 2008, Bolton Wanderers reduced their season ticket prices and still suffered an 11.4% reduction in gates.

    Catering

I didn't think ball boys needed a confidentiality agreement.
  16. And I was only pointing out that we have much higher priorities on which to spend our meagre income than electronic season tickets.

    Catering

I was hoping milky might start a "Catering Memories..." thread and post pictures of his favourite pies from the past few years. I'd be particularly interested in pies from other European grounds.
  18. I'm sure if we were pulling in 30 or 40 million quid from TV deals we might consider installing some electronic system too. Until that day, however, the club will just need to rely on the fans not throwing their tickets in the washing machine.

    Bob Malcolm

I can feel a thread merge coming on.
  20. They were brought in as interim management for an unspecified period of time. Both parties knew this at the time, so I don't see what the big deal is. After the Gannon problem, Boyle is quite right to weigh up his options and not rush into anything that will require more upheavals a few months down the line,
  21. Just not to our players. The guy was even worse than I thought he'd be. Even McGhee eventually sussed out his best position was on the bench.
  22. I was reading David Conn's article this morning. It's not pretty.
  23. I don't see sub zero temperatures in Hell, so I'm guessing the training at his old club is where it will start and finish. Accies might want him though to replace McArthur.
