  1. Looks like there is a link at www.atdhe.net for the game today too. That will likely run without sopcast.
  2. I don't think so, but I'm guessing atdhe and iraqgoals will probably use that site as their feed. So we should be able to pick it up somewhere.
  3. 3 years is what I remember reading, but I don't think that was ever confirmed by the club.
  4. I don't think there will be any problem finding a decent link. The fact that it's being covered live on telly means the usual sources should be streaming.
  5. You can always try downloading and installing Sopcast from here. Once it's installed, you should be able to fire up the sites and be good to go.
  6. You're safe enough if you click on bar to download the active x controls. There will likely be non-sopcast broadcasts on the day too. If I see any on the day, I'll post them up here.
  7. To be honest, I think it's just "Llanelli_Tony" or "Flamurtari" again.
  8. Image Not Found. Well played, sir.

    Charter To Romania

Very true. And if he causes trouble they won't be able to tie his new ticket ticket number to his passport

    Charter To Romania

Or at least have the tickets in hand luggage.
  11. What do you mean? That was a terrific close up of the knot in JG's tie.
  12. Not to start an argument or anything but the quote only says Ruddy *could* start and Coke *may* be on the bench. Not exactly definitive.
  13. 1. 7th2. Quarters 3. Semis 4. If we beat Steaua, we'll have got further than I hoped. If we lose to Steaua, we will have got further than I thought Seriously, my main ambition for next season is for JG to build a squad and a system that will move us forward for 2010/11. Anywhere around mid-table and a wee run in one of the cups will be fine if we get the foundation in place. We should have a much better idea in early October, once we have some SPL games under our belt.
  14. Oh dear, then we are in trouble, because when 50,000 Scottish fans get together we just drink tea and clap politely.
  15. Although our players are young, a number of them have played against teams who attract 40 or 50,000+ to their home games. So that shouldn't be too big a factor. EDIT: beaten to it.
  16. Indeed. It would be ITV Digital all over again. A huge number of Football League clubs went into (or close to) administration when that went bust and some are still struggling to recover.
  17. No need for a tin hat, I think you are right. The guys you mentioned were different class. While Faddy had cult status (and for good reason) players like Gary Mac and McLair were, in my opinion, also better all-round players. As I believe their respective league titles and European trophies show.
  18. I think the difference is JB appears to have planned for that loss of revenue ahead of time and taken fairly drastic and immediate action (even if it meant selling off some good players). Given the state of some other SPL teams, the appointment of Gannon seems even smarter now. Aberdeen, it appears, had budget plans dependent on TV money, and no Plan B.
  19. Regardless of how good or bad Gannon believes Fraser to be, we needed another keeper for the squad (as was evident from having to register Melly for the Euro ties).
  20. That would be John Gardiner.
  21. Eh? I thought Derek Rae just tried to speak with a David ("great goal for Scotland") Francey accent
  22. Maybe. Or maybe there is a reason he has been shunted around on loan and never made it past 3rd choice. The question is, do you take a gamble in such an important game or go with what you know and leave that experiment for later?
  23. I think that if we ever get a big centre half that's good in the air, a lot of problems for our keepers would disappear. Jim Leighton used to be useless at cross balls too, but McLeish and Rougvie took care of that department, and let him take care of the shot stopping.
  24. Aye, I can't imagine the guy is fully match fit. He hasn't had much of a preseason, and he certainly hasn't seen much first team action in the past 12 months. Despite Fraser's frailties, it would be a gamble dropping him. Remember, Ruddy was 3rd choice at Everton, so not a lot of chances in first team games there.

    So It Begins...

Well it was after the pitch was laid and before the season started and what Boyle said was he had been told the longer it was left untouched the better it would knit together, so he planned to leave it untouched for as long as possible. I don't see why he would risk messing up the new turf for one game, when there are potential fines etc. if it doesn't hold up during the winter.
