  1. Because when the clubs sold themselves to the highest bidder, they gave up the core values of our game; like 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday afternoon.
  2. Aye, it looks like a majority of the 'story' comes from speculation on here.
  3. I don't think there was ever a case opened.

    Free Tickets

My dad's season ticket is an OAP concession, and he managed to get the free ticket no problem.
  5. Does that really count though? He was a Liverpool fan first and foremost.
  6. That's not what I was talking about. Your post was trying to make the claim that Killie was unique in offering a refund before ICT agreed. I was just pointing out the Motherwell did exactly the same thing and continued with their offer after Inverurie refused to budge. The people that were offered incorrect information could (and should) have been compensated, but that is a separate argument.
  7. Strachan wants to go one-up on McGhee and will shortly unveil his new 2-7-1 formation that will revolutionise their European fortunes.
  8. I think we have some empirical evidence here to show that if you support Motherwell it destroys your career opportunities. Tam C is just one example
  9. Why should the watchers participate? Apart from its comedy value, there is nothing here of any substance.
  10. Didn't have any of the posters, but had about 10 of the stickers with "Well to win the Texaco Cup" on them. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any.
  11. I think I've cracked the formula. Rangers Forum + Celtic Forum = Genuine Rumour
  12. So did Motherwell. They issued full refunds to a number of fans without any participation from Inverurie.
  13. A "genuine rumour" So if I tell you that Scott Brown is going to be transferred to Inverness in the summer, will you post that on the Celtic boards as being a "genuine rumour" too? After all, it's something you just heard.
  14. Terry Butcher is a 'Well fan I hear. Does he count as famous?
  15. Let's worry about St. Mirren first, eh?
  16. Crags mentioned that after the game on Saturday the players said that, if they progress in the Cup, they would prefer "anything away from home, because the pitch should be a lot better...". He also said "we're trying to play good football. Unfortunately that's not going to happen at Fir Park". How about some communication as to the status of making our pitch "the best playing surface in the SPL"? I know it's a topic that comes up on a weekly basis, but when the team captain is making comments like that on national television (and rightly so) isn't it about time we received some sort of comment from the club?
  17. Or maybe they need to have a word with their bank manager. There is an economic crisis going on right now, and not everybody has money to fritter away on football matches.
  18. Paul Mills scoring the last minute winner against Dunfermline at East End Park (when we were down to 10 men).
  19. Forget 'Go West'. What happened to 'Tainted Love'? That seemed to be played at every game, home and away, for about 15 years.
  20. Any comment from the boss about why he started that way? Or did he just over-analyse and outsmart himself like he does from time to time.
  21. So you admit that's what it said then? It's no my fault I read it at an inconvenient time for you. I don't have time to come back and check to see if people have welched edited their posts. See, you can edit anything to win an argument
  22. It was about winning "tomorrow". You can edit it all you like, but we all remember what it said. Welcher
  23. Hope Jay got a good deal on his panda suit.
  24. If the plan was to try and hold St. Mirren to a 0-0 at home, then McGhee needs to stay away from the Buckie.
