  1. Anybody have a link to highlights for the BBC restricted among us? I forgot it was being shown on Alba, so missed the chance to stream it
  2. Refraining from jumping up and down like Terry Butcher doesn't equate to a lack of passion. There are plenty of top managers/coaches in many sports who show no emotion. Their passion is focused on the training ground, and in the detailed preparation for each game.
  3. Pettigrew, Graham, McRae, Marinello, Wark, McLair (the first time), Gregor Stevens (the first time), Jaws Forsyth, Nijholt, Tommy Boyd (especially when he played sweeper), McVie, Coyne, Cooper, Bobby Russell, Faddy, Gahagan, Uncle Phil, Stevie Kirk, Shuggie Sproat, Brian Heron, Jumbo Muir, Kirkie Lawson, Dixie Deans, both Psychos etc. etc. Been lucky enough to have seen many great players and characters strut their stuff at Fir Park. Impossible to pick even a top 10.

Not a bad way to end a wee dry spell.

    Bring Back

Trebor Blobs Especially the Toffee Apple flavour.
  6. Can we no' even afford to give our players a flu jag at this time of year?
  7. Fair play to the guy, but it would have been nicer if he hadn't felt the need to talk the papers about it at all. Or, if he really felt the need, not to go down the "Hopefully, one day I will speak about what has happened to me and the truth will come out" path. Maybe I'm just being a bit "Bah, humbug" about it though, because I haven't finished work yet.
  8. Well Crags and Clarkie were injured.
  9. I know what you mean, but I thought the tone of the programme was spot on with a decent balance between banter and discussing the poor form of the team.
  10. Going bankrupt is a crisis. Sitting 10th in the SPL in December is just frustrating.
  11. The most fun I ever had watching Motherwell was when we were playing in the First Division. Especially the away games. From Shawfield to Gayfield, it was always a grand day out. The season ticket cost about 30 quid, and you could stand at all the grounds.
  12. My mates shout and boo when I'm playing 5's without any need for me to ask them.
  13. I don't like clubs who sack the manager at the first sign of a problem, so I'm all for McGhee staying on. Fergie always talks about the mark of a good team/manager is not playing well, but rather how you bounce back from adversity. So, give the guy (and the players) a chance to turn it around, and prove that he has the talent to fix things.
  14. No we couldn't because the board's policy was no transfer fees, and we don't pay very high wages.
  15. That's because it's not in our blood.
  16. Try downloading the TVU application from here and using the TVU link. It is usually decent quality.
  17. I have no idea about this one. If we can score a goal or three, it could kickstart a nice wee run over the festive period. If we lose, it's backs to the wall, and going to be a long hard winter.
  18. Why is this marked as NSFW?
  19. If it was supposed to be working, and it failed in the way the club claims it failed, then I'm sure we will have a good case against whoever fixed it (with appropriate penalty clauses in the contract). If we told porkies, then it could end up costing us dearly.
  20. Unless, like me, you want to be there, but won't be there. Which, I believe, conclusively proves this theory to be incorrect.
  21. You are certainly more likely to fall when standing, than when sitting. However, the original quote didn't mention anything about you falling over - it was talking about safety. You can argue all you like about degree (and I do), but it is obvious that, in general, 1000 people sitting is more conducive to safety than 1000 people standing. Fighting the guidelines on those grounds is a waste of time. The question should not be," is it safer?", but rather "is the extra safety worth the additional cost and inconvenience to the fans?"
  22. In a break from the norm, I have a serious question to ask. Mark McGhee has a reputation (fair or unfair) of turning teams around in his first season only to see a major drop in form in subsequent seasons. Has Craigan noticed any difference in the way the boss has approached things this year in match prep and tactics that could explain the dip in performances, or are they just mince for no reason?
  23. I realise Fat Bob is a passenger, but I doubt the ref will let us play 11 outfield players
  24. 3 weeks into the summer break, a couple of new signings, and you'll all be queuing up to get season tickets again
