  1. If it was supposed to be working, and it failed in the way the club claims it failed, then I'm sure we will have a good case against whoever fixed it (with appropriate penalty clauses in the contract). If we told porkies, then it could end up costing us dearly.
  2. Unless, like me, you want to be there, but won't be there. Which, I believe, conclusively proves this theory to be incorrect.
  3. You are certainly more likely to fall when standing, than when sitting. However, the original quote didn't mention anything about you falling over - it was talking about safety. You can argue all you like about degree (and I do), but it is obvious that, in general, 1000 people sitting is more conducive to safety than 1000 people standing. Fighting the guidelines on those grounds is a waste of time. The question should not be," is it safer?", but rather "is the extra safety worth the additional cost and inconvenience to the fans?"
  4. In a break from the norm, I have a serious question to ask. Mark McGhee has a reputation (fair or unfair) of turning teams around in his first season only to see a major drop in form in subsequent seasons. Has Craigan noticed any difference in the way the boss has approached things this year in match prep and tactics that could explain the dip in performances, or are they just mince for no reason?
  5. I realise Fat Bob is a passenger, but I doubt the ref will let us play 11 outfield players
  6. 3 weeks into the summer break, a couple of new signings, and you'll all be queuing up to get season tickets again
  7. Except we were winning when MM kept him on the bench.
  8. We've scored one goal in the last 5 games (and that was from Fat Boab's free kick in the doing from Hibs). Needs fixing. And soon.
  9. They look Trill'ed with themselves.
  10. He couldn't screw the nut.
  11. Nice. Now we need a threshold of "number of games played" before stats are ranked; otherwise 1 goal from 1 appearance will always top the list. Anybody else with enough time on their hands to work out a good number? I would guess 20 - 25, but still don't have time to mess around with it.
  12. Like I said, I don't have time to do all the maths right now, but Ian St. John's strike rate was 1 goal every 1.4125 games. That will be hard to beat.
  13. Without having time to do the maths, I think Ian St. John looks like having the best ratio.

    What a Joke

On a slightly different note, what is the deal with Killie needing 10 days advance notice of frost so they can switch on their 'state-of-the-art' system?! Has the Met Office ever managed to be that accurate with their long range forecasts?

    What a Joke

I read the covers were only there on Friday (I think) in case there was snow. The weren't being used to protect the pitch from freezing - just a precaution against a snow shower. The USH was supposed to take care of everything else
  16. The December/January fixtures usually give a good indication of the way things will turn out at the end of the season. If we can start scoring goals again, we should start moving in the right direction.

    What a Joke

If we did what MM says we did then, unusually for us, the club is probably in the clear. It's difficult to fully test the USH until there is actually a frozen pitch. If we didn't do what MM said, then the SPL can justifiably throw the book at us. BTW - is "Ice Rink" the new "Sandcastle"?

    Accies game

I have never seen an Accies/Well game sell out and the way the two teams are playing these days I can't imagine this one being sold out either.
