  1. If it's anything like the pre-contract he 'signed' with Forest it is media speculation, and nothing more.
  2. If he did go to Hearts, the money would have to be in the bank (and cleared) before we let him go. No idea why he would go there when he can find a better deal down south, mind you.
  3. It doesn't matter who is to blame. Hearts agreed to pay Arbroath on Aug 1 last year. They still haven't payed. They have also deferred payment on players win bonuses. Why would they need to do that?
  4. If that was true, then you wouldn't have agreed to pay Arbroath anything; and yet you are paying them on Jan 9th (allegedly). Why would you do that?
  5. Even if a transfer fee was involved, we wouldn't see any money from Vlad.
  6. Don't ask me, ask the players that are still waiting on their win bonuses from last year. Or have a word with Arbroath. When you are stiffing a wee team out of 14 grand, you know are in financial trouble.
  7. Except he has this irrational need to be paid.
  8. Keeping Boab quite will be easy, as he'll be on the bench... I fancy a 2-1 win for with a deflected shot from Clarky in the last 5 mins winning the game - just after Hearts have a stonewall penalty claim denied
  9. I can't imagine any player who likes receiving wages every month would go anywhere near the Jambos. I'm sure Porter will move on, but to a Championship or lower EPL club.
  10. It's nothing to do with the club. The agents go running to the papers with half-baked stories to try and start a bidding war. The higher the price, the more the agents get in their 15% cut.
  11. It's obvious I'm no Malcolm fan, and I'd be happy to see him move on during the window. From McGhee's past comments, he obviously wanted him to play in the midfield and has been disappointed in the lack of fitness which has prevented from playing that role more often. I'd be much happier keeping Reynolds for that role and freeing up Fat Boab's salary for other options.
  12. According to football-lineups.com, Engedal is 1.83m i.e. almost exactly 6ft.
  13. For all LDCs efforts, the football club is in major financial trouble. They could be out of business very soon. No wages for players (again)
  14. They allegedly have both undersoil and a cover system.

    Maroš Klimpl

Aye, here is his first name if a mod wants to cut and paste it. Maroš
  16. Thought it would end up a draw. That's an okay result considering both team's form the last few weeks.
  17. He has to stay on the pitch to do that.
  18. Quinn is an idiot and a liability. If he's not getting sent off giving away needless pens, he's trying to get sent of by elbowing players.
  19. St. Mirren will be flying for the first 20 or 30 mins. If we can keep it tight and quieten down the crowd we have a chance. (Sorry, was that too many football manager clichés?)
  20. There are many more young Scottish players coming through the ranks these days than in recent years. Even the OF are using a lot more home grown players. You can't create them overnight, however, so short term there will still be a mix of overseas and local talent in Scottish teams. So, in other words, I think your basic premise is wrong
  21. Internet stream available here and working for the overseas Dossers too. Fancy a draw today, hoping we sneak a win.
  22. If he said "never" then he hasn't quite grasped the concept of democracy and/or kickbacks. However, to quote my favourite TV judge, I wouldn't trust anything a Lanarkshire councillor said if their tongue came notarised. There were councillors that told my parents a supermarket would never be built behind their house. Then Safeway had a wee chat to Mr. Dewar and his cronies and guess what happened?
  23. I don't think anybody has ever said (or even implied) that this is likely to happen soon.
  24. A 5000 seater plastic legoland stadium wouldn't be better, no.
  25. Exactly. He may not be a Motherwell Man, but neither was wee Tommy, and he did no' bad. I have been a big critic of McGhee's words and actions in the past. However, he made his choice to stick with us this season, even if it was at the airport, and I'm happy to support him and his team.Of course, that doesn't mean I won't moan about some of his decisions, but I still think he has the ability to turn the season around and move us up the table.
