great news! as for him not being in the next qualifiers.. it doesn't matter, these games still matter in the form of if we keep losing them we'll slip further and further down the rankings and I'm sure that makes things even harder for us so really we need to put out as strong a team as possible and try to get something in the remaining games

If the team that finished the season played against Pana or Levante we would have had a far better chance, but no point talking about what could have been! Hope McCall can convince most of the guys to stay who are still undecided and then add a few more and have a real good go of it no matter who we get.

If he turns down more money, a move to a bigger club in terms on fans/resources etc then I think that is a very clear indication of how much he wants to be the motherwell manager/how much he enjoys it. 9/10 times if you offer more money to someone they'll go, if he stays it speaks volumes for the guy! Thought as soon as they came in he was away.. never dreamt that he might knock them back, if it happens it would probably be one of the most positive things to happen in recent years, we might actually see a fair bit of the team stick around and we might even build on this seasons success.
